I have 4:30 gears on my 3.7 they really kick hard. I cant go full throttle yet off the line cause ill just sit there going thru 1st 2nd and then 3rd gear it finally grabs. I need a better suspension to handle the gears.
I almost have the same set up as you do, but I don't have the drive shaft but I do have an AirRaid CAI. I'm going to install the 4.10 gears, so my question to you is what's your horsepower and how are the 4.10 gears?? Thanks in advance

I dyno d the car and I'm at 292-299 rwhp consistently ..... the gears I'm loving . I wouldn't change it if I could go back I'd pick 4.10 again ...... 1st gear ends super fast but the acceleration you get from it in combination with lower control arms and upper control arm... traction is sick.. I'm grabbing the pavement like never before ...
+Raul Martinez Thanks awesome. I have the Bama race tune too and BBK headers, AirRaid CAI, and FlowMasters and I'm going to go with the 4.10 gears and install the lower control arms. Do the gears make the exhaust sound different. As you know, FlowMasters aren't that loud as it is...
Oh damn. Wish my 2001 had one, I hate having an open diff. I thought about switching out the rear axle, but I don't see a point now because I'm going to sell it and get a hemi this year haha
@@kryptopcgamer589 indeed it was. With 4.10 gearing and intake boring, we got there. The car is long gone at this point. I ended up getting into 17 5.0, then a 08 gt500 then sold that, now in a 911 Porsche
+Charles Lewis (Big Grime) awesome man.... automatic or manual? got the 4.10 because mine it automatic...you lose a lot of hp and tq in the drivetrain...really wakes up the car huh
So almost a year later, would you still say you love them better than 2.73s? Also do they make any noises? And I still have stock rims and tires so would you say 1st gear is useless?

11 - 14 v6 mustangs already have a limited slip diff
