You make it look easy but this is a serious workout. I'm in pretty decent shape, work out 3-4 days a week, and ride a stationary bike fairly regularly. Yet this routine was still hard to keep up with. It's not too difficult that it would scare off newbies, but it's difficult enough that you know you got a great workout when you're done. I can't keep your pace up yet, but it's still a very doable ab workout. I have a real appreciation for how good of shape you're in!
I got my Total Gym from QVC in an incredible deal (during the Pandemic, no less) and I love it! I'm always finding new exercises to do on it. I'm going to have to try these soon. Looks like a real killer ab routine. I'm curious, which Total Gym is in this video?
Rosalie, you've whipped me N2 shape. I previously wrote in that I had not touched my Total Gym since my 2 Strokes in late-2015. I started back THIS WEEK. . . . very challenging! I had to restart beginning at the 3rd pin level. I've owned Total Gym since 1998, after my 1997 automobile rehabilitation. Feels good restarting again! My 1998 equipment no longer glides smoothly. I wonder if the online store sells parts for it. CELESTE, in the ATL 🌼

I keep reading that ab exercises involving more than your body weight (as in using weights) INCREASES your waist measurement. If so, when using the Total Gym, would it be a good idea to set the exercise pad to a lower level (lower resistance)?

You can try lying cable pullovers on low level to start with an alternating bent knee tap- like dead bug exercise on mat.

I like setting my total gym lower for AB exercises as it also makes it more challenging- more focus on core- especially for the jackknife exercise.
I’m having trouble following the count of each exercise… is it posted somewhere?
