W Dev talk, but feels like they kinda missed adressing the most important issue, which is lack of endgame content. No reason to gear up if there's nothing to use the gear for. There needs to be content that incentivizes grinding, otherwise it becomes an endless hamster wheel grind. Which is really why most people quit.
I think all this crap is just a continuation of the same things that have destroyed this game. For all this talk about making things easier to get, most players aren't interested in Devs creating bigger gaps between players. While also making fighting in itself boring. It sucks to see the golden age for BDO is long gone

This is all good news, so more of this! It's at least going in the right direction. However, there are still things that needs to change in order for BDO's player base to increase: - Meaning. The time you put in, the gear you get should mean something. If it doesn't matter what gear you have because sones are AP capped and PVP is gear capped, why then bother farming for BIS gear when it only gives you the opportunity to grind Dekhia 2 spots? - Grinding just for silver is boring. We need these items that can drop at a rare chance that makes the grind interesting. It must be good items that can be used to something worthwhile, or something you can sell for a good amount of silver. - As long as the linear progression is what it is, things won't change. I.e ONE set of accessories and ONE set of weapons/gear. There is no natural progression to this because you just get it, work on it, and enhance it. - BDO is a sandbox MMO, and a real grinding game. Why don't they add more meaningful stuff to do when in endgame like WOW has now for example? Farming for mounts, reputation, meaningful questlines, more "dungeons" etc. The game should open up at end game, not be narrowed down. There is a lot to do in BDO, but most is a waste of time because it doesn't give anything meaningful. - There is no actual difference in having 320 ap and 330, but it costs a shit ton. This doesn't make sense, as there should be a difference If BDO get's this with it's top tier combat system and graphics, it would be the best there is. And holy shit, that 200% looks amazing
There was a brief segment in the developer commentary where they acknowledged that 4 new grinding zones in LoML "might not be welcomed" and that they believe there's a "greater desire for new content". In addition, they've said, "growth goals have been sidelined in favor of expanding new content" and "we're gearing up for content that will inspire new goals" somewhere around the 21:30 - 22:00 minute mark of their video. I'm interpreting this to mean that they're going to give us meaningful content that gives players a reason to push for higher gear outside of just grinding circles in typical monster zones. Let's wait and see if they can actually cook something up

Now we need Arsha servers with rotating PvE grin spot buffs for trash loot. Every 2 days 2 Arsha spots will get a buff in thrash price between 3x to 10x for 2 days. Get the open PvP back in that server and make crystals unbreakable during the duration. Buff drop rates to 100% for those days.
And add other debo tier accessories but make them Hybrid one and Eva/ Accuracy other ones. Reduce devo drops from the hole game and make them really rare. Buff yellow accs and have a clear tier division. Tuvala, then capotias, then yellow ans finally tingrad and debos. Tingrads should be a 3 piece for the 100% and buff the AP of almost every accessories but capotias and tuvalas.

Hilarious, they want us to use PEN gear as enhancement resources as if we have tons of pen gear just lying around in our storage. My accessories are still mostly TET to this day because the pain of having one of them blow up from a missed enhancement terrifies me. I guess I could drop 500USD to purchase a ton of costumes to melt for the cron stones to protect the attempts... but I'm done with giving PA my money.

How is making every single piece of gear 50% more expensive, unless you spend $32 on an Outfit, the best to sustain the player base? One would assume someone having to put in 50% more effort to get a reward, when it already took some-150 to 200 hours each item would make people quit. Like me. BDO had 3 beautiful aspects for all the time. The fact that being top geared you could make a half year break, come back and still be at very good gear spot. Gear was hard to get, but the quality of that was insane. Now its not exisiting anymore. Secondly - guild pvp while tons of boring grind. They removed one-side wars, GG. And the fact that you can utilize your gear effectively, it feels like you invested hundreds of hours into that. So what did they do? Right! gear caps, arena without gear and even a choice of your party mates (2 random plebs). They are doing everything to kill old player base.
They could easily get alot of players if they would just got off their asses and make the game on consoles actually playable and oh I dunno, maybe release a freaking next gen version of the game ffs it's almost 2025
No housing news? We still can't place furniture in any residence. Manor-locked furniture is the only thing that has been released for years. No new furniture props. No Western stone multi-level castle as a Manor. At least Pax Dei came out. BDO hasn't done anything for its casual playerbase in years. All we get is Manor-locked furniture and 3 LomL Manors in a row. No one is going all the way over to LoML for RP so it's been useless.
There will be enough videos of people spending thousands to get it immediately. They are just milking the game now, there were no real fixes mentioned IMO

dosa awakening looks cool af, but honestly everything else seems like not a big deal to me. just more of the same, new grind spots to grind, to buy more outfits/crons and then enhance the one accesory that everyone will go into. im not big on pvp so the nodewar rules might be cool for people. At the end, it just doesnt seem to have much "fun" content added. but atlease they are trying to change things up a bit with the accesories so i guess ill give them credit for that.
It's official, you must pay thousands or play the game 8 or more hours a day to even think about competitive PVP. Its boring. This wont bring any positive change. Who wants to grind a year or two minimum just to feel like they can reasonably fight? I am all for having more progression, but they have no concept of grind vs payoff. You get more out of putting this amount of time into any other game

Already quit bdo few weeks back but I keep watching this channel for updates. I need PA to rework my Awakening Woosa class before I return. Once PA has enough time to implement such a minor and unpopular class fix, I'll know they're no longer working under the stress of saving a dying game. Will probably take several years before we see such changes. Or perhaps the game just dies before any of that happens...

I can also agree with having one set of life skill, one set of pvp, and one set og pve. The biggest complaint I have with this is that at higher enhancements levels, the upgraded item doesn't give you anything because it's such a little upgrade stat wise

Not much. Still use crons and little build variety due to the purple ring being the only accessories to get.

dosa awakening looks cool af, but honestly everything else seems like not a big deal to me. just more of the same, new grind spots to grind, to buy more outfits/crons and then enhance the one accesory that everyone will go into. im not big on pvp so the nodewar rules might be cool for people. At the end, it just doesnt seem to have much "fun" content added. but atlease they are trying to change things up a bit with the accesories so i guess ill give them credit for that.
I'mll never be going back, 6 month to have a decent gear to pvp is way to much I can instant pvp on throne and liberty
It's official, you must pay thousands or play the game 8 or more hours a day to even think about competitive PVP. Its boring. This wont bring any positive change. Who wants to grind a year or two minimum just to feel like they can reasonably fight? I am all for having more progression, but they have no concept of grind vs payoff. You get more out of putting this amount of time into any other game

Already quit bdo few weeks back but I keep watching this channel for updates. I need PA to rework my Awakening Woosa class before I return. Once PA has enough time to implement such a minor and unpopular class fix, I'll know they're no longer working under the stress of saving a dying game. Will probably take several years before we see such changes. Or perhaps the game just dies before any of that happens...

BDO is far from perfect though.
But you can also look at the numbers yourself with steamcharts. BDO has had the same average playerbase for the last decade. People crying about the game dying are delusional

We can't criticize a game without it being called moaning? Many people have quit, like myself. Though I hope they can improve on things so that I can come back, because I like what BDO *can* be, but I don't like what it is now. Subjective, I know, but one look at the player base over the last years tells everything there is to know

Dosa awakening! The reason I uninstalled the game. We get to get male classes at every 1346777788 years and then they doing it dirty with his awakening not even listening to the players feedback. Why should I play something that no ones from PA listen to our feedback. This dude should have had double sword and tigers. Period!

@@Nermalion I think he meant that there is too little to do in the world of Black Desert that are fun and meaningful. The only thing there is, is grinding the best silver per hour spots to buy mats you need for your ONE set of accessories and ONE set of armor. Going out in the world to farm different shit is what this game needs in my opinion
@@Seriksy i dont know man, i get what u mean, i myself dont like the idea of multiple sets of gear, just one for pvevp and one for life skill its fine, what i think the game lack is something to make people do the contents, for ex what they did with the new bosses, people are doing it because its the only way to get the flame and the crystals, they should do the same for the dungeons and other contents, unique itens that you only get on especific dungeons/bosses/whatever.
@@Nermalion Yes I agree on this. Make the gear you get meaningful *to* get. And that other activities besides grinding are worth doing.
I can also agree with having one set of life skill, one set of pvp, and one set og pve. The biggest complaint I have with this is that at higher enhancements levels, the upgraded item doesn't give you anything because it's such a little upgrade stat wise
