the music in the final battle, letting us enjoy the moment instead of fearing dying because of how the did it, it was unique and pretty good
Gonna be honest that was the part I disliked the most in that fight: final phase you couldn't die from start to finish...would've been better if all they did was like in Base game where you needed to at least cut half the HP so at least we got an actual threating final phase (maybe where we could use the flame artes the entire fight as well since we had Shionne/Dohalim to heal/revive if need be. Spoiler warning from here on out for Arise's base game and dlc, you've been warned
Overall though the dlc gave a bit more of a satisfying end than the base game imo as it had a better final dungeon (base game's is up there in one of the worst for the series) and even better final boss fight/boss in general than what we got (Astral Spirit...I don't consider Vholran it due to you almost not being able to lose it unless you're completely reckless before cutting half his HP) as the Spirit just wasn't a well thought out villain imo (would've worked if it was being used as a weapon by the Renans and they kept the Renans as the villains narrative and could've changed the plot a bit to be them trying to take Dahna's astral energy to restore Rena)...even the idea of the world's originally supposed to be one would work in such a scenario if written well and it could've still lead to the ending with the worlds uniting and this dlc I guess).

He wasn’t hard more like it was time consuming to beat him took me 2 hours at lvl 100 but that’s probably bc I had the unknown difficulty on 😂

He's still dead, but he lives on rent free in Alphen's head.

Why was there no wedding scene event ??? We had a picture slide in the main game but not here 😢

@@xquad973 just rewatched this 'ending' we know what they wanted to say they didnt have make it suspenseful, should gone all an make the scene or anime clip just saying.
@@hamasakikenji4554 These are my thoughts as well. I was really disappointed to have waited 2 years and not get a proper extended wedding scene. It kinda made the whole DLC's story pointless for me cuz this was all that i wanted lol. And they didn't even show a reunion with Nazamil, nor did they make Law/Rinwell and Dohalim/Kisara official. They just flirted/hinted with their romance in the base game and here as well, but never really made it a canon thing imo.
I have no idea why they thought this would be a good ending unless there is more content, like a anime, coming out that would give the final "real" ending.
@@KairixCiel they're lucky that tale of arise was so good all around that it didn't need fixing and corrections like zestiria did where that had a story dlc pretty much asap and the 2 anime seasons. Honestly if they didn't want to do a wedding scene they could do a scene where alphen and shionne are in normal clothes not battle gear and just walk and talk holding hands or something.
