Smart choice to not release this episode a week after, as it’s more an epilogue. Really enjoyed it and damn both Kathryn Hahn and Joe Locke are just so good.
I think what’s so amazing about Agatha as a character after seeing this show is you really cannot put her in one box. She’s villainous but not totally evil. She’s not a hero but she can make heroic choices (giving Jen the pep talk, saving Lilia from the sword, saving Billy from Rio). As she pleads with her mother in her trial, she can be good, but she also uses her evil persona to her advantage. She takes power from others but she helps Jen and Billy get/use their power on the Road. She was a mother devoted to her son and loves Billy in her own way, but totally forgets the names of people she doesn’t care about. You just can’t pin her down, which is totally unique in the MCU thus far. I love it. Though I was one of the people that kinda wanted her to become more of an anti-hero and have the other coven members understand her better based on her history, after reflecting on it for a while, I’m glad we ended where we did. Because her story isn’t over, and she’s still on a new path with Billy as a coven two (which she hasn’t had since Nicky). Also yes, apparently ghost Agatha (Gagatha, if you will) is a thing in the comics, and apparently Wanda brings her back to life at one point 👀 so…. MCU witch movie 2026?? Make it happen Feige. Tommy was reincarnated because Billy disappeared as soon as he did it. He got what he wanted and was released. I think that Agatha knowing that her son was living on borrowed time made her appreciate that time much more than if he had died in childbirth or if he randomly died with no warning.
If she was appreciative of the extra time she had with him, she wouldn't have immediately cried out for more. Also, he literally died randomly with no warning.
And even more to the point, you cannot claim self-defense in the course of premeditated murder. Her entire intention at the beginning of the interactions was to kill someone for gain. A bankrobber shooting an armed bank guard is almost certainky acting in self-defense, but not legally. Also, Agatha had no reasonable fear of imminent danger to herself or others. These are all killings of people who cannot harm her. If you know for certain that the gun is not loaded you don't get to shoot someone because they have a gun. And Agatha KNOWS for certain the witches' bolts will not harm her. She wouldn't be doing it otherwise.

@ Agatha released him. If he wasn’t within Billy, why did she say “you can’t keep him”..? What was Billy keeping if it wasn’t the soul of his brother. “You are breathing for both of you”...? What does that mean?
@ if Tommy was out and about Wanda could find him. She wouldn’t be able to find Tommy bc he was within Billy and Billy had the sigil. Tommy didn’t have a sigil bc he’s not a witch. Billy couldn’t find his brother bc he had to look within, Agatha helped him recover his memories and release Tommy into a new body.
@Persephone_Personified Wanda couldn't find him because Tommy wasn't out and about. He was a bodiless soul. He didn't exist on our plane anymore so she couldn't find him here. "It's black. There's nothing." "He floats. He looks down. What does he see?" "He's afraid." "But he has you with him now." "I can't find a place." Before Billy could even find him a body, he was talking about Tommy being with Billy "now", as in he wasn't with him before. Tommy was in the darkness, floating, scared. He was a disembodied soul floating in the aether with nowhere to go. Billy reached out, found his brother, then had to find a place for him to go.

The afterlife in the MCU is another dimension you go to based on your beliefs or the entity you serve. Thats why Moon Knight went to Duat. The WandaVision trilogy is supposed to end with a White Vision series called VisionQuest. No plans have been announced for a 2nd Agatha series. Presumably the Billy-Agatha-Tommy follow up will be addressed in VisionQuest or somewhere in the upcoming movies
For everybody on the couch please do not listen to Suraj anymore. Yes the body that was drowned is the body of a kid named Tommy Shepherd whom Tommy Maximoff soul takes over. Yall were right. The door is not “heaven”, it was literally just sunlight.
Don't let the comments get you down, Suraj. I cackled at your interpretation of Billy and Ghost Wanda just going into the light hahaha. It's a fun interpretation but yeah, the ordinary one is likely true: Billy just opened up a door to the outside world from Agatha's basement.
The afterlife has actually been seen in a few MCU projects and explained as changing depending on the persons beliefs, we saw in Black Panther, Moon Knight, Thor Love & Thunder, and in Agatha we see our first spirit.
lmao last episode one of the characters said "walk about" and i was waiting for Suraj to make a john locke lost reference but he never did, i was kinda let down. and then this episode right off the rip we get a nice lost reference from suraj about danielle not having pregnancy meds on the island lol. LOST !
She used the time with her son to con witches so she could kill them. I think that is why she couldn’t face Nicholas. She loved her but loved killing witches. Also, she knew she couldn’t save her son because his destiny was to have been a stillborn so she wasn’t I think killing witches to give her more time. It was just coincidence that death came for him, the day he didn’t want to help her kill some witches.
agreed. Just thinking about it logically would make that obvious. They clearly weren't going to be slaughtering witches every day. Killing 4 or 5 women every day for six years would draw the wrong kind of attention even in the old days. I think it far more likely that Nicky himself felt that his time was coming, and he didn't want to spend what could have potentially been the last day of his life with his mom doing the thing he hated doing.
I love how the ending doesn’t hand feed you why Agatha’s did everything she did. You can rewatch it and try to figure it out for yourself with all the clues they drop. And even then people can come to different conclusions.
I like Suraj’s interpretation (it is interesting), but based on the comics and the fact that Billy got the thing he needed, I say that Tommy is now alive.
Spidey, please. For centuries, people have known perfectly well that sex leads to pregnancy, even if they didn't know all the science behind it. We still haven't seen how Agatha got pregnant, or who the father was. We also don't know how or why she started absorbing magic from other witches. Mysteries still abound. And yes, Agatha actually obtained the Darkhold. She had it with her in the final episode of "WandaVision" -- Wanda got it from her.
see the whole "their life and experience on the road was hell. now they're walking into the light, especially for agatha as a ghost" is interesting SYMBOLISM. BUT im pretty sure in it's literal sense, the scene was just them walking out in agatha's yard lol.
Bro wt heck 😂 It's just the outside light lol Tommy was brought to life, that's why Billy left the witches road as soon as he came back into the new body.
Tommy's soul did go into that drowned kid. The tipoff was they showed the sneakers he was wearing, the silver gray/white colors like his 'uncle' Quicksilver's suit. We first saw the boys wear versions of their superhero costumes in WandaVision for Halloween.
According to an interview with Marvel, this series is a part-two of a trilogy starting with Wandavision and finishing with VisionQuest so maybe we'll get all the answers there, or maybe we'll have to wait until a Young Avengers movie.
Go back and look at the deal that Agatha struck with Rio in the last episode. She honored her part because Billy offered to go with Rio, and then Agatha embraced Death. By the terms of the deal, Death could not show her face to Agatha and so was unable to take her soul. Now, she is a ghost.
17:43 Dude, you're wrong. Lol, it was sunlight shining in, because they're standing in a dark basement. The whiteout is a transition to finality. Tommy is already back in the body of a kid who almost died--just like Billy did. That's why Billy exited the road when he did. He knew he had accomplished his goal. // I will say that this has been one of my favorite group reactions, because none of you knew what was going on. Every other one I've seen either already knew that Billy was Billy, Death was Death, and had already heard theories on what could have been (Billy creating the road). It was GREAT that none of you were looking up theories or had read the comics beforehand. It was truly a blind reaction, and I appreciate that.

We got a clue when Billy said “I can FEEL him but I can’t find him”
aka he was within Billy... the one place Billy wouldn’t think to look.
@Persephone_Personified Wanda couldn't find him because Tommy wasn't out and about. He was a bodiless soul. He didn't exist on our plane anymore so she couldn't find him here.
"It's black. There's nothing."
"He floats. He looks down. What does he see?"
"He's afraid."
"But he has you with him now."
"I can't find a place."
Before Billy could even find him a body, he was talking about Tommy being with Billy "now", as in he wasn't with him before. Tommy was in the darkness, floating, scared. He was a disembodied soul floating in the aether with nowhere to go. Billy reached out, found his brother, then had to find a place for him to go.
ÁGATHA's ending was brilliant, she becomes a ghost in the comics and guides WANDA on the path of the witches, but I loved that she will guide Billy.

Agatha and Billy walk out of the basement and into "a new dawn."
Covenless? Omg yall that is so smart
A wiccan series is in development, according to DanielRPK. But idunno if he's legit.
"Six years is pretty good though."
That's something to think about. Some people don't even get that much.
@@TheRibottoStudios maybe, but why take them at their cutest stage and not when they are an annoying teenager? J/k j/k
But it also means more years to get attached
The longer you have with a loved one, the harder it is to lose them.
its quite clear that Tommy was put into the drowning boy. He disappeared off the road right after he got what he wanted- his brother.
The giveaway answer was super clever. Loved this reaction, y'all.
Does this mean Billy also technically killed the Salem Seven, if he considers everyone who died on the road a kill?
No, Lilia did, she made the choice. Billy made the road, Lilia used the road.
Tommy is back, that’s why Billy popped out of the witches road- he got what he was searching for.
For everybody on the couch please do not listen to Suraj anymore. Yes the body that was drowned is the body of a kid named Tommy Shepherd whom Tommy Maximoff soul takes over. Yall were right. The door is not “heaven”, it was literally just sunlight.
He’s difficult to sit through 😵💫
Like how Billy awoke screaming Tommy's name, Tommy awoke at the pool screaming Billy's name.😊❤😢
Did he?
Navi…it’s not a gray area to kill multiple unknowing victims to keep your magic kid alive 😅
Don't let the comments get you down, Suraj. I cackled at your interpretation of Billy and Ghost Wanda just going into the light hahaha. It's a fun interpretation but yeah, the ordinary one is likely true: Billy just opened up a door to the outside world from Agatha's basement.
Death is not bad, as she herself says “I am the natural order of all things baby”, she only guides you so that you can rest in peace.🥺🥺
It is bad if you don't want to die and for your loved ones who stay behind. People have always liked to romanticise death, but be realistic.
@@Lilithly It is the natural cycle of everyone, she says it herself, "I am the natural order of all things."👌🏻👌🏻
@Spidey Agatha had the Darkhold in Wandavision, which is how Wanda got it.
It was just the basement 😂. Tommy got a body from the drowned kid in episode 8
COVENLESS. Enjoy watching you guys reacting to this show. 😊
"COVENLESS"
That's smooth. More channels should do that.
The afterlife has actually been seen in a few MCU projects and explained as changing depending on the persons beliefs, we saw in Black Panther, Moon Knight, Thor Love & Thunder, and in Agatha we see our first spirit.
Likely, the goat is with them to provide a source of milk for food, which is medically more easily digested than cow's milk.
Been waiting the whole day!!!! Lets go!!!!
lmao last episode one of the characters said "walk about" and i was waiting for Suraj to make a john locke lost reference but he never did, i was kinda let down. and then this episode right off the rip we get a nice lost reference from suraj about danielle not having pregnancy meds on the island lol. LOST !
COVENLESS. Love this! And have had a lot of fun watching your reactions. This show is so damned good,.
Love you guys!
Vision quest is probably about them finding tommy
This new version of vision wouldn’t even know they exist and had no connection to them
Don't be so sure about that, it's not written by Jac Schaeffer so will probably be loosely connected if at all
@@youngking9920 Didn't Vision give him all his memories in WandaVision?
I love how the ending doesn’t hand feed you why Agatha’s did everything she did. You can rewatch it and try to figure it out for yourself with all the clues they drop. And even then people can come to different conclusions.
I like Suraj’s interpretation (it is interesting), but based on the comics and the fact that Billy got the thing he needed, I say that Tommy is now alive.
Exactly
We actually see Agatha arriving at Westview during Wandavision xD
Remember when Agatha said, "Sometimes boys die," in the last episode.
In Wandavision it was shown that shes been absorbing powers since she was young
COVENLESS! Nice. Didn’t expect a secret hidden message
Tommy's soul did go into that drowned kid. The tipoff was they showed the sneakers he was wearing, the silver gray/white colors like his 'uncle' Quicksilver's suit. We first saw the boys wear versions of their superhero costumes in WandaVision for Halloween.
Tommy wore a version of Quicksilver's costume, not his own. His costume in the comics is pretty much completely different to Quicksilver's.
"Covenless" :D Great reactions! 😁
Seeing so many comments saying "afterlife" threw me out lol
The hidden word is covenless.
Yeah, no. The 'light' was simply outside light that was brightened. Not 'afterlife' light.
Thanks for the reactions guys ❤️ I hope this means you’ll be doing The Marvels soon.
They were just leaving the basement haha
“Covenless” i think marvel is back baby!
KMSL I love how at times, Suraj can speak with such resounding confidence and not be right AT all 😆 #CONFIDENTLYwrong🤣
Ghost Agatha is going to bother a lot of people lol 💜
I confess I missed a post-credit scene.
Billy has a saw poster in the background i dont think it was confirmed but the castle trial did feel like a saw trap
The disrespect of Rana was crazy 😂
COVENLESS!!! 🎉 The season was a surprise banger
According to an interview with Marvel, this series is a part-two of a trilogy starting with Wandavision and finishing with VisionQuest so maybe we'll get all the answers there, or maybe we'll have to wait until a Young Avengers movie.
Sunny today or no?
Tommy is now in a human body. They are looking for him in the real world now. Y’all talk a lot and miss stuff lol
True
8:49 We’ve seen Valhalla, the Egyptian wheat fields, and the Wakandan spirit realm to name a few
I will say that this has been one of my favorite group reactions, because none of you knew what was going on. Every other one I've seen either already knew that Billy was Billy, Death was Death, and had already heard theories on what could have been (Billy creating the road). It was GREAT that none of you were looking up theories or had read the comics beforehand. It was truly a blind reaction, and I appreciate that.
Vision Quest Will be the sequence, It’s a Trilogy: Wandavision, Ágatha All Along, and Vision Quest
did they forget its always sunny
hopefully not 😭
