Plan before making any moves. When I caught my ex, I kept quiet and built up evidence and talked to an attorney. I confronted and divorced her quickly. While she was under the “affair fantasy” I was able to get full custody of the kids, beach house, all the cars, no child support, no alimony. A few years later her life crashed while I met hotter women and relaxed on the beach! Praise God for all the blessings!

@@donh1572 that's pretty sad. Sold her kids out for a wannabe rock star. Wait till wannabe dumps her for a younger unit. Reality will come knocking on her door one day. Just guessing she will have a lonely ending for her bad judgement.
What state or country were you in? Was it a no fault divorce place?
I was in the Middle East serving my country when my (then) wife “wasn’t happy”, “Loved me but was not “in love” with me”. Only one think to do: I filed for divorce. It was a sh*t show. But, now I am a single Dad (my son lives with me), the fun times spinning plates and living life with family and friends without a negative insufferable “sea anchor” is wonderful. Just wonderful.

@matthewschwartz6607 We are promiscuous by nature and monogamous by choice. Promiscuity doesn't work for family formation. Children and communities need order and structure.
Connections and deep intimacy come from monogamy. If you notice everything that requires work , intention, and discipline, it almost always leads to a better functioning outcome.
Promiscuity = easy = chaotic.
Eating junk = easy = diseases.
Exercise = hard = strength, health.
Being lazy = easy = weak= coronary problems.

I somewhat agree with Rich on this. If she sreps out because she really likes a guy, get rid of her for sure. I've seen multiple situations where a girl had a one-time hook up and had zero feelings towards the guy. Now, if she's constantly doing that, it's a problem. If she had a one-off, there's potentially a chance.
For me, I can't let that go, but some people can and still have a good relationship.
My point is that women to a lesser degree are capable of having meaningless sex as a one-off. It's not always about emotion

Alimony is theft.
Family Law requires an overhaul in fairness and accountability. There is no coming back from betrayal. Once trust is broken from infidelity it is done! Sooner or later you are going to go through the stages of grief, there is no way around it.
Laws need to change to make things fair and equal.

My ex cheated on me and i said ok you cheated on me we're no longer in relationship I'm gonna drop off to your home for having good times. She tried to cry and i said please don't cry on me i hate when woman cries for their guilt she suddenly stopped crying. I dropped her to home she tried to hug me i said no no this is over why you still try to be with me you done it yourself now she stalks me tries to get attention...
End it, decouple, then go fully no contact. Take the time to heal and get over the pain.

I went through this, we had a on and off relationship but we where working on our relationship because we have two kids, i find out she married some dude behind my back, now that i put everything together she had been cheat for a very long time w this chump. Now im paying the price in court on child support over $ 2k a month. My mistake was loving a woman. Never again will i trust another woman. 💯 true she not yours, it's just your turn. Money can make a woman leave you no matter if you have kids, she will drop you. Trust no woman no matter how good she seems. Pump and dump.

Rich, I wish you were around in the late sixties when I was in my late teens. What you are doing for men is invaluable. Your philosophy was nowhere to be found back then. I had to learn these lessons the hard way.
Demanding respect after tolerating it is difficult. Set boundaries to begin with; it's easier.

The solution to all this is don’t get a committed relationship! Expectations are the problem not the women! I learned that very early in my life! Lay some ground rules down if you want a committed relationship but be prepared for the worse! It’s got to be “My way or the highway” and still be prepared to bounce!
Any tips for overcoming heartbreak after a 31 year faithful marriage that her mid life crisis and sudden decision has ended?
I'm beginning to realise that I have been in love with my illusion of her more than the reality of her. But it's difficult getting past it. Kids lives, property split, retirement...everything is affected. She has already hooked up with a wealthy bachelor dude apparently looking for a wife!!

I know exactly how you feel. I was in love with nostalgia. What we had at one time can never be recreated again, even if she changed her mind, that trust is gone, the illusion is gone. I look at her completely differently even if I still miss her at times. And I absolutely look at women differently now.

You'll drown in sarrow and despair if you don't get ahold of your emotions and direction in life (not saying you haven't or that you aren't). All you can do is accept the loss, go thru the motions and think about your self and how you're going to over come and live well despite it all

We tried fixing it. The full story is embarrassing, but the end is we are separating for good because forgiveness is a sign of weakness to women. Women won’t respect you anymore. End up finding her with a fat bar flies.

What might be the worst is a wife who cheats with no intention of leaving. I know someone who was posting on Facebook about their anniversary - her years together with her wonderful Christian husband, yada yada. On the surface she's all about "Christian family values".
Turns out she's been running off to the No Tell Motel with some clown who knew her in high school and contacted her out of the blue. Her husband is a good guy, wasn't beating her or mistreating her in any way, nope he's been working hard every day, doing what he's supposed to do providing she and their kids with a great life. She wasn't about to let all that go.
her husband did everything right except stay exciting for her. Was he pleasing her in the bedroom? Did he stay in shape? Did he date her? If not that's why she sought another man for some fun. Working hard and treating her decently doesn't make her horny.
That's the thing that I think women will never understand they think a man is just supposed to just blindly trust them like she can go to a bar with her friends & you're just supposed to accept that but the thing is it's not about trust it's about respect no man wants a wife who goes out & has these Lil girls night out crap & 9 times out of 10 if the tables were turned she wouldn't like it & that's why I say & it's just my opinion but women have no idea what things like respect & honor really mean & it's foolish for a man to assume that they do so yes set boundaries early on & stick to them

Maybe he was a cheater himself and that's why she stepped out. If he didn't love her enough to protect her heart from getting hurt then why should she? Or maybe she wanted to attention she was lacking when he steps out. She stepped out to fulfill that void. Woman. Communication is key. Tell her the lack of physical affection is bringing you to the brink of seeking it elsewhere. If it's not important to her then outsourcing isn't a bad option.
Make that clear and don't be surprised if she is getting it elsewhere.

I recall listening to ARC on this topic, he would point out how he was able to get together with women who were married to successful guys, based on his ability to seduce women, even though he wasn't as financially well off.
