Does anyone know how to use audacity to record the tone from the Amp, merely using MG 300 as an audio interface for recording. Typically this has no problem using audacity and and Quicktone editor. However, this round I wish to use only the THR10's tone (amazing) and I do not want Nux MG 300 tone on it, while retaining capability of amp/Nux to PC recording capabilities. So far I have tinkered with Mode (Combo Rear, Combo Front, Studio etc), Settings (Dry out/reamp) to no avail. What results is just a "flat" tone where all amps/pedals in Quicktone is bypassed, and none of the distorted tone out of the THR10. Does anyone know how to get the tone from THR10 into audacity?
I’m sorry but I don’t understand the question as you have asked the same question on several of my vids. You want to record a flat, unprocessed tone into Audacity from the MG300?
@@ThePedalGuy Thanks for the reply. I want to record what's purely out from my THR10 into the computer. But it seems that passing through NUX MG 300 (I've turned off all amp/pedal into bypass in Quicktone editor) and into PC/Audacity, what results is a flat tone. You really shouldn't have anything like the latency delay at 5.31 in the video, or be trying to work around it by disarming tracks etc. I have an MG 300 and there is zero latency when connected to DAW. There is no need for the MG300's audio out to be connected to the PC as audio should be coming through the USB out. Perhaps that's what's causing the latency issue here? I would dump it if the latency was that bad!
Appreciate the feedback, but I think you're missing the point. Every computer is different and will respond differently to ASIO and latency. I have done this for over 25 years and it's never the same every time. The purpose of what I showed was to avoid the problem all together by not monitoring with latency. All of the audio you heard was coming via USB mixed in with my VO.
Too Complicated. Too many downloading this update and that update. This is what I have done with my old, second hand Digitech Modelling Guitar Processer. I recorded some fantastic music doing this through my DAW in Bandlab. It sounds fantastic.

Hmm....it should. You might want to double check with the MG-300 FB Groups for additional help.
@@ThePedalGuy thank you. i will
Is there a way to also record the dry signal at the same time on another track?
Not that I'm aware of. There's a Dry Out option though but not for multiple tracks.
@@ThePedalGuy Thanks for your answer.
For those interested: the Valeton GP100 does allow dual recording. However, as far as I can tell, it doesn't let you reamp...
Will the MG300 also digitize the signal from the aux input through USB? E.g. to jam with a backing track and record the combined signal directly in my DAW.
I haven't actually tried that yet.
@@ThePedalGuy It would be a solution for my DAW latency
I've just tried it, and luckily (for me) it only records guitar, no aux, no drums/metronome. Is there a problem mixing the backing track and guitar in DAW afterwards? Reaper is the best DAW, just like winrar, you can evaluate indefinitely, for personal bedroom use.

I try the newest version of Asio from NUX but after this driver my quicktone program can not run any more. My laptop has windows 10 64 bit with the latest update. How can I get to work???

I want to record using this pedal into Cubase, but I want to hear the sound of the track AND the guitar through my normal audio interface, not the NUX one. Is it possible to select different ASIO drivers for the output so that my inputs are NUX, and output ones are Behringer UMC
I can not afford an amp, so can i use this as an audio interface and then have a output speaker/ headphones to listen to the sound?

Two possibilities. One is that there’s a USB conflict. The other possibility is that you are using the MG300 as your native audio device.
I cannot hear my guitar when I use Nux Asio :(
Funny thing that you say to keep the record level 0db but in my case i set it to 12db in order to have a loud master
Just remember you can always record at a normal level and increase the volume in the mix. It’s difficult to go the other way. Save your dynamics 😉

how good is it as an audio interface , is there noticable lag
It works just fine.
Where can I download the mix ASIO driver?
The NUX landing page for the MG300

Hi! Thanks for the video!
When I use the MG300 as my audio interface, I find that the recording volume is very low. I would play the tracks on my DAW and record my guitar and the volume is fine but when I play back what I just recorded, the volume is way down. I made sure to set the recording and playback levels at 0.
I also tried plugin in the pedal into my M-Audio audio interface but the sound quality is atrocious.

The MG300 needs to be here as I need it to be my audio interface.
@@miyavizim it’s a rather unusual situation. The MG300 should be in Studio Direct mode. Turn off all signal blocks on the MG300 and that should do it.

It’s an excellent choice for first timers. I wish they had something like this when I was a first timer 😉
Has anyone managed to get the MG-300 to work with Bandlab?
