Sounds like the title of this movie is actually a warning for people to stay away.
JLo and Jessica Alba should just be dancers they are ok dancers absolutel train wrecks of actors
Please don’t compare JLo’s dancing to whatever Jessica was doing in Honey.
@@WilliamsPinch😂😂😂
Whoa...I heard a lot of judgment contained in the timber of the reviewers voice around the 17:42 mark about that character living with his Mother. I didn't think I'd catch a stray shot so early in my day.
I feel like if you're going to play the role of a smoking, hard drinking been through some things person you should try to lay off botox to allow that. It's so distracting and I love that you guys talk about it.
Absolutely but also should have picked a different actor altogether
Why are Netflix movies like this? 😂
Lol Nick goes.... "It's still unclear what kind of living human Jessica Alba could realistically portray...." and I'm like yup, I need popcorn
Same.😂
That is the most perfect summation of her career that I've ever heard!
That one line would make me question my entire existence.
That one line would make me question my entire existence.
This is the same actress who claimed "good actors never use the script"
She’s just Jennifer Lopez in a different font
😂😂😂🎯
A different font is INSANE lmfaooo
Jessica Alba as a special ops agent....Ugh.
Nuff said!
"It's still unclear what kind of living human..." lol Joseph your facial expression made me laugh out loud!
Why do studios keep remaking basically the same movie. "Mexican Shaft" was funny
Limited in acting range but Jessica Alba is still one of my celebrity crushes.
J Lo, Kate Hudson, Jessica Alba, etc....they all need to just retire.
The most accurate statement I've heard all day.
Everyone is trying to have a comeback...unsuccessfully.
Jessica Alba, although she is definitely pretty and maybe a nice person, is a really bad actor. She already has a successful business, she really should just give up acting, especially not with the tough girl roles that she seems to keep trying to do. Her being a tough cop or in this case, special ops??? Come on...
Joseph PLEASE lmao at "Mexican Shaft Drag"! That sh*t is SENDING ME!!!! Love ya'll down. Keep up the amazingly messy and thorough reviews!
🤣🤣😭
Jessica Alba as a hardcore Special Forces soldier is as believable as Kevin Hart playing an NBA player, I mean common!
Also, the action scenes were atrocious. As if they tried to replicate The Raid & John Wick, without any of the talent & expertise you need, in order to shoot these type of action scenes.
If you're in the mood for some kickass, female lead action movies, check out some Asian movies, like:
- The Villainess from S.Korea
-Furie, from Vietnam
- Chocolate, from Thailand ( it's basically female Ong Bak, made by the same people)
Or check out some old school Hong Kong movies with Michelle Yeoh or Cynthia Khan, from the 80's/90's, that stuff is still awesome.
Good list. But I’d include the Kill Bill films from the good ol’ USA
Didn't you know that before jennifer Lawrence made hunger games, there were no strong female characters in cinema... 😂
Jessica Alba'core Tuna😂
Great video! ❤
You guys should definitely review awful movies more often. The commentary is hilarious 😂
This review was better than the movie 😂 the way I cackled 😂
Why do all of these Hollywood actors consistently sign on to these terrible projects? Is it a case of bad agents/management? Or just money? You would think these actors do not read the screenplays...oh my lord I give up on these people!
Guess it's just money, doubt she's getting offers left and right
I love how much stink Joseph puts on the adjective "little"
I tried to watch it this morning. It just didn’t grab me. I ended up doing chores while letting it play in the background 🤷🏽♀️
Jessica Alba as a skilled special forces commando? It's giving JLo as a counterterrorism analyst in Atlas. Lmao!😂 Also, why did Nick read this lady in his quote like that. Messsssyyyyyy but accurate!
“Albacore” Joseph, you ain’t right! 😂
Oh no he is every bit correct 😂❤
It seems like a movie that removes wrinkles from your brain as you watch it
Dumping on us. How apropos.
Hart of stone, damsel, lou, mother, atlas, red notice, adam project, 6 underground, rebel moon and now this. Netflix is quickly becoming a straight to home video studio, but with a budget that is 10 bigger.
How can these crappy films cost so much to make?!
This sounds atrocious lol so glad I don’t pay for Netflix anymore 😂. The faces and eye rolls are out of the stratosphere with this one. Did you do a review for J lo’s horrendous documentary and that other recent crap she did and I missed it?!?! I better go back and check because I need to have some good laughs at the expense of some entitled out of touch celebrities 😂
Ugh I love when you drag the movies it’s my favorite. Sounds like Jessica Alba should’ve stayed in retirement her money form those target products and that dance movie must have run out 😂🤣 You guys are so fun I just wish I could watch a bad movie with you guys. Of course it would be fun to watch a good movie too😫😉
Happy Friday lovely gentlemen 🌟👏
✅
Not a .5 rating 😂😂🤣 This review is a 💯
Dayuuum Nick, came in HOT out the gate: *SAY IT WITH YOUR FULL CHEST* like Kendrick Lamar. "...what kind of *LIVING* human can she realistically portray..." 😂😂😂😂 FAFO season is HERE. I restarted the video AGAIN just to hear it, lol. That's a bar, lol
It's the "living" part that stung. It's up and its stuck on Alba. 😂😂😂
Looked at Rottentomatoes and shocked to see that you are the only correct rating for this film lol. I dont know what film Variety, Guardian, or CNN was watching.
I honestly thought Jessica Alba retired after The Eye. I assumed she married some rich man and twirled away. Come to find out she's been in several films after that! Why is anyone out here casting Jessica Alba?!
I was just about to try this one yesterday. But then I realized Alba was in it. Thank you guys for saving me from it 😏
I love Jessica Albacore! 🐟
I still can't believe Anthony Michael Hall is that nerdy kid in Sixteen Candles and Weird Science....
Aahhh that's who it is. I thought his name sounded familiar but was too lazy to look into it. Thx man.
How you not mention The Breakfast Club? 😂
This was the funniest movie I’ve ever seen in my life 😂
.5 … ouch 😅😅😅
Your videos are so tempting to watch before hand. I’ll be back tonight after I watch the movie!!!
Jessica Albacore is now canon.
I swear alba on this movie looks like Jennifer jones on Duel in the sun 😂 what an awful movie 👎
Pity poor Lawyer Guy - who would've done anything for Spider and dosen't even get a eulogy from his comrades at the end 🙂
On point. Horrible movie.
My dad forced me to watch it🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
"90's Steven Segal choreography ..." 🤣 I already noted on the trailer that the combat choreograohy is real bad ... just feels highly unreal as she focuses real hard on predetermined movements, and yet doesn't seem as it matters to her ... if it would have been a comedy it would have made more sense, but a bad movie which tries to be serious (ain't entertaining) and on top of that sublime messages (annoying bs)
Such a stupid and boring movie. Shot in darkness. Awful screenplay and direction. Jessica Alba is so wasted here. Terrible, terrible. Netflix sucks.
When Joseph just has to 'elaborate' on something that's new..."smoky borders" - not good - everything else must pale in comparison. The trailer had "Lethal Weapon" vibes - but, like, the target audience is different.
Never wished I could double dislike a movie like this one. It was so shiat.
I came hoping for some J.A. eye candy and was let down even on that level... very underwhelming 😑
A good Fish Jelly roast is my favorite type of review!
I'm sorry, WHO is still casting Jessica Alba!?! 😅
I know you did not say Everly was bad, these movies were a thousand times better then Jlo's movie 😅
😂😂😂 Thanks for the review. I was curious if it was worth my time 🤭
Hahahaha Nick, do you know “Summarizing Proust Competition?” I can’t hear his name without giggling
4:17 LMFAO @ Joseph, son! That’s spot on! Can’t unsee it!😂
Movie was trash
Oo, so the movie seemed like they were going for the 80-90s small town long lost person comes back to help the town story. Albeit, it was done poorly. True, a better actor could have maybe pulled it off, her fighting was not convincing at all.
I knew this movie was gonna be garbage after watching the opening scene. Gave up and came here for the drag instead 😂
I was first introduced to Jessica Alba in her starring role as Max Guevara in the James Cameron Fox Tv series, Dark Angel. She played a genetically enhanced killing machine created by a secret government agency trying to blend in and have a normal life in a post apocalyptic Seattle. I enjoyed her in that show and it ran for 2 seasons. I’m surprised and disappointed to learn about this film. Your reviews are always so spot on and entertaining! 🤩 👏🏾
Btw. Pls see if u can review: Clive Owen’s latest Monsieur Spade
It was dull and the sped up fight sequences were really annoying, I couldn't get to the end just didn't care.
Better than JLo's The Mother. This is a better middle-aged choice by Jessica Alba.
i loved it. I hope Jessica Alba remakes all the steven seagal movies. and steven seagal makes stupid cameos in each one like stan lee in marvel.
Damn! I think that's the lowest rating I've seen you guys give a movie.
Sounds like they took all the cliches and put it all in one movie.
Film was total garbage. Couldn't finish it.
🍿🍿🍿🧈🧂🍫🍶🍹
1/10
Just saw this movie. It is worse than you guys say.
Watched 15 min turned it off.
I loved this movie! She killed it❤❤❤
What did Jessica do to Nick? 😂
Definitely boycotting
0.5 😂😂
…and the very fun: Sandra Oh’s Quiz Lady. Pls. Share ur review. : )
That movie is amazing
I wanna see Ana de Armas in a role like this.
Love the actress, but I think she'd be terrible too
I like the Cliff Notes version of the movies I’ll likely never see 😃
