After I found your video about swift 150. I got swift 150 on german amazon two weeks ago for 61 eur (64 dollars). I am super happy. I just wanted to try microscopy. Bottom wheel useless. 25x eyepiece is worse than 10x. But using 10x eyepiece image is very clear. I never used a microscope before and It was super easy from the start. I could not believe I got that good quality microscope for that price. Thanks for the video.

I have a stereo microscope equivalent to the one in the video (20x - 40x) and a compound microscope equivalent to the Stellar 1-T.
I use the stereo microscope far more often than the compound microscope. In addition to hobby use you will find many practical uses for it. I have never used the compound microscope above 400x and ended up replacing the 100x oil objective with a 20x objective which I find much more useful.

This is a very informative video and the way in which you are explaining things clearly shows your experience and dedication. Very well done sir! If possible I would like to see a video about staining and colouring specimens. Also with some information about side-effect as I understand there might be possible health-issues using some of these materials. Thanks and regards from the Netherlands.

I would also suggest Amscope, they're quite affordable, and you can get parts for them. I have an Amscope microscope where I bought an extra 60x objective to replace the 100x immersion one. They were easy to contact and get information from, although in a bit of a chinlish. It's worth considering if you want to be able to replace some of the more exposed parts, for example if you rotated a non-immersive objective into the immersion fluid and ruined it. The microscope I bought was around 250 EUR, it's a binocular microscope with 4 objectives, condenser and mechanical stage. It also has filter holder for doing darkfield and such. Very good value.

I spend 70 dollars on a microscope instead of 40 because of you.
    I probably won't regret it.
    I hope it's ok that I bought a child's microscope even though I don't have a child.

    Never trust an microscope seller.........

They are collector's items and should be taken care of very well. Put them into a museum etc. Regular use might damage them. Same as with old cars. I would not drive to work with them.
