I'm in this video, in aviator glasses next to the woman being interviewed at 4:37. They asked me right after her but I couldn't speak in the harsh floodlight, I just shook my head. RIP John.

John Lennon was my favorite Beatle. I’m so curious about what the scene in front of the Dakota was like. Can you elaborate a little more on that night? Did you see or hear anything prior to the murder? How did you first hear of this tragedy? Thanks in advance 🙏

@user-uo3nw7xr1y I got a phone call from a friend telling me the news, I turned on the radio to hear that it was true but didn't feel like listening. I threw on a light jacket, it was a crazy 65° out, you can see folks were very lightly dressed for 1 or 2 am in December. If it hadn't been so warm maybe Chapman wouldn't have hung out all evening, I thought later. I walked the 50 blocks from my apartment near Columbia down to the Dakota and saw the big crowd. I looked at the entrance and thought about what had just happened there and how it would change our lives. I chatted with people like the woman who was interviewed, Beatles and Lennon music was playing from some car, #9 Dream I remember. But then by 3am the crowd became rowdy and the mood started to turn ugly, my friends decided to leave. I bought the new Playboy issue with John and Yoko's big interview and read it sitting on the stairs of the 72nd St. subway waiting for the uptown 1 train.

I really felt for Julian. It was difficult for us fans to process God knows what it was like for him. The father he had barely known was gone forever. I think it was one of the children of the Mamas and the Papas who said that fame was like a thief who stole everything of value in your life. Sadly he never lived to see the world live as one.....

Thanks for posting one of the original broadcast of John Lennon's death. The statement given by the Official was a bit different, than the witnesses were saying (shot 1 of the 5 bullets in the front? Or all in the back?). And why were John and Yoko dropped of at the front of the building, and not in the secure courtyard? And it was at night, so you would think they had the sense to drive in first. Why did they decide to move John (the police) - then shot and wounded - in one of their own "radio" cars (I presume this is just a normal police car and not one of their vans?) instead of waiting for an ambulance? Knowing (if you are trained with basic First Aid) that 5 big wounds, bleeding, this would spell certain death, when they still had a chance to prolong life, if they would attempt to stop the bleeding and wait for the ambulance? I am not a conspiracy theorist, just interested in the story, and just asking questions. Is it just incompetents of the police, not being trained enough in first aid at the time? Or was it meant to be that John had to go, and not just solely by a crazy fan? After all, throughout (recent) history, so many "good people" were murdered or suddenly died. You can't help wondering .... what if....

A very good movie you should watch is "The Lennon Report." The officers have always stated that an ambulance was about ten minutes away and to give him a fighting chance they put him in the back of the patrol car and raced to the hospital. He most likely was dead before they made it to the hospital.

Wendy, keep looking and you nay find out facts like the doorman that night was a Jose Perdomo, AKA SanJenis, he by his own admission to Chapman was involved in the Bay of Pigs, and a researcher took this tip and looked him up and turns out to be likely same man who was involved in a squad called Operation 40, they were guerilla fighters in Cuba. Linked to a Frank Sturgis, who also was a Watergate burglar, but see the Watergate burglary was intentionally set up to be found out. Perdomo knocked the gun out of Chapman's hand after, I don't know how that's possible, and then kicked it away and told him to leave, its all so strange. & the this, the same Forensic Psychiatrist who claimed Sirhan Sirhan had hypjmotized HIMSELF, lol, well he also worked with Chapman at his lawyers urging, essentially it seems that Diamond implants false memories, did he do the same with Chapman??

The amazing coincidence of Chapman and Reagan's shooter John Hinckley,, by a writer named Chirko, IU do not buy it is a coincidence but this is a true fact of their involvement in World Vision.Hinckley and Chapman Similarities and Shared Affinity for Lennon
"Realistically, it should be relegated to coincidence that Hinckley’s father, Jack, was president of World Vision United States, a Christian relief organization where Mark David Chapman also worked, at its refugee camps in Lebanon and Arkansas. " (Chirko)

      Hi Wendy,
John had seven external wounds from four bullets: four entry wounds, three exit wounds. (The fourth bullet ricocheted internally.) The external wounds were in John's back, left shoulder and chest.
Basic first aid, and even *advanced* first aid, would've been utterly ineffective as an intervention. The most that basic first aid can do is to artificially pump the heart; it cannot address internal trauma such as that which John sustained.
Due to this trauma, 80% of John's blood volume (about four litres) quickly drained out of his blood vessels. So pumping his heart artificially (with first aid/CPR) would serve no purpose: there was very little blood to be pumped. This is called hypovolaemic shock, which is what killed John.
Imagine a garden-house with an extreme rupture. Turning up the water pressure won't help: the water will just drain out. This is what happened to John's blood vessels.
With severely diminished blood flow comes hypoxia (oxygen depletion to the organs and tissues, including the brain), followed by rapid death, unless the rupture in the blood vessels can be plugged, fresh blood transfused, and the heart stimulated to pump in its own again. The cops knew the ONLY chance John had was to get him to a surgical team FAST. They made the right call.

My guess is no matter what anyone could’ve done, there was no way to save John’s life. According to reports, Chapman used hollow point bullets. Hollow point bullets expand upon impact severing John’s main arteries around his heart. It’s been said that even if paramedics were on standby the moment those bullets penetrated John’s body, he still couldn’t be save.

A BLAST: Just like a THUNDERBOLT
    A flame between the shoulders
As ground rush up to meet me face
A thought: "Now this is odd...
'I'm SHOT' sez I, (for, yes I was)
    T'was not as I'd IMAGINED...
As mortal body hit the deck
    I thought: "I'm meeting GOD"...
The rush of footsteps all about
    (Poor agitated Mother...)
    My lifeblood quickly running out
    Preparing for another
    I suddenly was up above
    And looking down at LENNON
Who looked so frail and waifish
    Amongst the folks who gathered
Half-in and more than halfway out
    Already on The Way...
Tho' still some life left in the lad
    He simply cannot stay
    And like a giant ragdoll,
    Removed quickly from the scene
Traffic lights - the noise of Life
    Of fellow Human Beans
"LENNON" is what they all cried:
    John Lennon Lennon Lennon...
    As I hovered up above
My old name echoed and repeated
"Save Him - We Must Save Him" -
    In their thoughts and energy
As if LENNON were the Ticket To Salvation
    It really was astounding
    Quite the spectacle, my friends
And I marveled at their wild DETERMINATION
The white walls of the hospital
The stark wails of the fans
    The sadness of His family
    And His friends
    Yet YONDER now was beckoning
And the wonder of it all
    As remembering:
    "Ah! We BEGIN AGAIN..."
With JOY, remembered: WE DON'T DIE!
    It all came rushing through
    Embraced in Father-Mother's Love
    Knew We had God's work
    To do.
And now mere words elude Him
    Yes, Wordsmith Wonder Lennon
    Except for one: A Signpost
    Accompanied by a Song
    And brightly lit
    By a single Star:
    "LENA."
    👁❤🌟

Chapman is a cover story for the military assassination of an innocent and law-abiding person. Their reasoning was he was too powerful and influential. Note his name Mark (as in target) and Chapman (as in Sh*tman) = Assinate the enemy. Note, also what Chapman says, 'He was an album cover to me'. A typically military sick joke, as it was a 'bum' or poor cover story for a cold-blooded murder. This why MI7 are keen that Liam and Noel Gallagher would copy his look and music, helping to bring the crime, dark and fear to a new generation. Yoko Ono was also involved, as part of Mi7 (note also the connotations arising from her name), and remains free to this day. Also, Sean Lennon, who is also part of MI7.
