Yeah would be interesting. I don't know the interviewer but man...seems lucky that Jim is such an intelligent guy that could help him through it. Jimmy can interview himself and sort of does by expanding every question into something of real interest that people will want to hear.
Jimmy is a next level human being. It’s there in every thought and statement. It’s there in every note. He informs each note with a magic that is all his own. He put it all together, he played, he produced. He invented the lifestyle and the mystery. His enthusiasm and intelligence are undiminished. I’m never going to tire of his music.
I enjoyed how Jeff Koons allowed Jimmy Page to tell his story. Several times, he would lead into a new question or topic and as soon as Page would start talking, he immediately stopped and let Jimmy be Jimmy.
Interesting interview. I've read quite a bit about Page and it was enlightening to hear his creative process. He responded well to Koons, even though Koons appeared (to me, at lease) to make comments and formulate questions that were a bit nonsensical and obtuse. If you want to read more about Page - read the Brad Tolinski book; it gets technical (and I am not a musician so I glossed over some of that) but it also did a deep dive into Jimmy and how he works. As an artist (I spent a long time on the styling end of fashion and now paint and work as an amateur photographer) I always want to hear how people get to their end goals. Thank you so much for this opportunity to listen to Jimmy Page explain more of his genius.
Jimmy Page is without dought the greatest musician and very articulate. He was Led Zeppelin. Im 69 followed them since I was 14 back in 1969. Saw them at Earl Court twice, Knebworth, then Page & Plant at Manchester evening news.

I know what you mean. Robert but I don't think anyone means that as a knock on Jimmy. There are many fans like me who think that the talent is still there and Jimmy still has a lot to offer. But what he does is his business and he's not answerable to anyone on this Earth He has paid his dues and put in his time

Not just Jimmy Page, but Led Zeppelin as a whole were the driving force and inspiration for bands such as Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Bad Company, Foo Fighters, Guns n Roses, Heart, Iron Maiden, Japan, Metallica, Nirvana, Queen, Van Halen, White Stripes and many more bands and singers. I would really love to hear about Jimmy's personal life. Not necessarily anything that is too personal, even though it would be great, but to hear things away from the music of Led Zeppelin. To hear personal daily life such as any other hobbies he enjoys and so on and so forth. Maybe we will never hear about it or we might in a book after Jimmy has exited his mortal coil. Best Zeppelin album Zep two ..depends on ,me how feel ,being a guitar player picking up music you like and changing to your style are the best. .make it your own ...
Jimmy Page talking about the influences in writing Babe I'm Gonna Leave You. Well, he didn't write it for starters. It was written by Anne Bredon in the early 1950's. This is one of the very, very long line of Pagerisms. I am astonished that this bloke can sit here oblivious to the endless court cases which were always "settled out of court". It has been said by many people that Led Zeppelin are the World's Greatest Covers Band.
