But yeah, I get ya, I had a similar issue with an old RUclips account of mine back in the day were I made a single parody/edit video and suddenly there's subscribers, even tho the rest of my account was just crappy LPs for girly girl games. It's cool when people _want_ to see the content you are actually making, but it feels weird and a itty-bitty uncomfortable when it's for an irregular occurrence such as this. we need more thin guys in media that arent portrayed as druggies, This guy is soooo cute and makes me feel alright for not being some muscle built guy. Just a spindly guy, a bendy dude, a man who can get around where he needs to go. XD
Tak is perfection minus him growing in the film, and not because animators made the decision to "tan him up because he's actually in the sun now" which leads to his eventual ending look. I'm glad he moved up in the world and isn't alone/is happy, but he had a level of content about him that is adorable and as the princess says "resourceful" at the same time. We do need many more like him (though we don't need basically makeovers either, maybe just growth with some clean-up).
Technically the film is still being worked on, it was originally released unfinished and not to the creator's vision because the studio got tired of waiting for Richard Williams to finish it. Thankfully there's the recobbled cut which is accurate to William's plan for it. There are some unfinished bits though so the team behind the recobbled cut is still working on actually finishing it. Basically this movie has been in production for decades and probably will be for at least a decade more. If the recobbled cut is anything to go off though it's absolutely worth it, this movie is a work of art and deserves to be experienced in its full glory. It's just a shame Richard Williams himself won't be here to see it (he sadly died in 2019).

There are multiple versions of the film (you can find the uncobbled cut here on youtube, posted by one of the animators I believe), some of them include the unfinished scenes that were not included in the Miramax version of the film. Super complicated, I know 😅

HE'S BECOMING ONE AGAIN (also idk which version of this movie I grew up with but I do not remember his voice being that deep...and tbh idk if I like it, one of the reasons why I loved him so much was cause his voice was soft and comforting and it fit his quiet soft demeanor which this deep voice doesn't fit at all)
I think you might've seen the Arabian Nights version of the film, also known as the Miramax cut. Tack had a softer voice, and more speaking lines in it.

I always wondered how the animation was so amazingly smooth... The movements, the consistency in color placements, everything If it weren't for the fact that 3D animation back then was shit, and how cartoony it was, I would have thought it was rotoscoped.
I remember when I was a kid and this came on TV, I loved it so much and yet I thought I hallucinated it for a long time because it showed once and then never again (I am glad it was real, my love for Tack has not changed)
