You missed the important thing of using same thickness of wire or bigger when connecting a fan. And dont run the fans of a switch directly always use a relay to take the load of the fan and use fuses that are matched to the fan output.
I don't have a Z, and I'm pretty good with wiring. But I know it's hard for a lot of people and not easy to get a straight answer when it comes to wiring. A lot of people don't know how to look at diagrams or use a multimeter which is understandable since most hate doing it. I give you props and have respect for you just genuinely wanting to help people out in that situation. This is why people enjoy the Haggard North stuff because you guys can relate to the average dude working in his driveway/garage. Keep up the great work homie! 👍

Also wanted to mention a relay should be used when wiring fans or anything that uses a lot of current (like a horn or fog lights) so you don't burn out your switch. Justin from MorFab Industries has a great video to help you understand how relays work and how/when you should use them. 👍

here in aus we pay about $1.50/L for regular then about $1.65/L ish and up for "premium". so for your .2 of the gallon is pretty cheap (80cents/L) and considering theres 3.7L roughly to a gallon its dirt cheap. havnt seen it under a dollar in 20 years here and its only going up
Your lucky. Diesel here in boise is $4.85 gallon. Lucky my benz gets over 30mpg I just replaced the viscous fan on my mercedes with a pair of mishimoto. Haven't drove it yet. Hope they help.

In sweden the price for the cheapest gas right now is 6.38 USD per gallon. A full tank of gas for me is about 110 USD. And i drive a volvo 940 turbo with a 20 gallon tank and get at best 22 miles per gallon.
