TEARS SWELL UP KNOWING ANGELINA IS GOING ON A JOURNEY MOST PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD WILL NEVER GO....A STAR IS IN THE MAKING AND I AM SO HAPPY FOR HER FUTURE SUCCESS.
Angelina Jordan is one of the most addictive singers I have ever listened to, & one of the very few, that can pull you right into the song, making you feel, every word, every note, & every emotion. ❤️💙 I always have this feeling that Angelina is not only channeling some of these late great singers, but that they also pass through her, when she is singing their song ❤️💙 A rare beauty, in every sense of the word ❤️💙 Whether you are a believer in reincarnation or not, I find it very intriguing that Lou Rawls, the American Jazz & blues singer legend, died, the same day Angelina is born 😊 Loved your reaction!!!
I wholeheartedly agree with everything you wrote -- except for Angelina's B-day: While Lou Rawls died on 6 Jan 2006, Angelina Jordan was born four days later. Love from Germany
She sings Back to Black by Winehouse, Crazy by Patsy Cline, Diamonds are Forever from Bond, and when she is 12yo she sings her original Shield. She wrote the lyrics. I don't know how much she did on the music but she said she wanted it to have a Bond sound. 12 yo. Blows me away. She sang for the Nobel for Arts when she was young. I hope I'm around when she is the recipient. Wonder if she will sing for her own ceremony. I can't imagine they would find someone better.
Yesssss! She is singing just like Amy Winehouse...with her 'roque...grave'...mature low texture in her baby voice. Just amazingly unique of her own kind ...slow, kind, smooth, delicate...just love for her uniqueness!!!!;
Just when you think she is going drop a word, skip a syllable or that she is running out of air her voice does a discreet somersault then kicks me in the jaw as if to mock me and sings the verse in way no one has ever done before.
Thank you Sandy, for reacting to Angelina. I know you have done many since this one, and I always enjoy your comments and feelings toward this little phenom. While Angelina has done many covers and three originals since the time she was truly a child (7, 8, and 9 years old), and I love all of them, "What a Difference a Day Makes", along with "Bang, Bang", and "I Put a Spell on You", remain among my all-time favorites. I believe we will look back on these performances with even more amazement than we are experiencing now. I have watched all of your reactions to Angelina, and I love to see the amazement on your face with each performance. Thanks for all that you have done to advance Angelina's career. Best wishes. Billy J
I agree with everything you say about Angelina. She swept me away when I first heard her audition on NGT. I also, felt that she is an old soul. How else can these beautiful notes emanate from such a young child? And I wonder why she chose this genre. Amazing child.
@@supasoulproductions I don't know how it's possible for an 8-year old to understand that music. I don't understand how she could even want to listen to it.
I found in the net three old souls or reencarnations: Dimash Kudaibergen, Angelina Jordan and Amira Willighagen. They are extraordinaries and move me until tears every time i see them their performances.
Love this girl.... Resistance is Futile... I have been a fan for almost 5 years... her mother is an opera singer, her father is a music professor and she learned to love jazz and blues through her grandmother who is an Iranian artist.
The first six words out of her mouth, What a difference a day makes”, was breath taking. I am smitten with Angelina’s incredible musical gifts. She is a genius level person.
I'm with you on your comment on a previous video on her that she doesn't have to belt out to be impressive. Every note and words are distinctive and captivating.
I prefer Angelina Jordan when I listen to music. Many artists compete in screaming out loud tones and forget that the music should be via expressions and several vocal layers. Take for example Dimash. Few singers can play with the voice like him. And the first time you listen to this you are left with a WOW efekt, but in the long run this is actually tiring. Too many new artists go into this trap. That's why I prefer Angelina Jordan. She takes you on a journey when she sings, and is self-critical to the use of unnecessary "show OF". If she goes into a higher tone, it is because the interpretation requires this. But we are all different in terms of music taste, and thanks for that. And many thanks for your great channel at Youtub.
Kevin Neal What A Difference A Day Makes is my favorite from her. She sings this when she is in Singapore and the production there is amazing. I have been listening to her acoustic recordings lately and now I am hooked on her voice. From her very first audition to her latest she sounds amazing.
I agree, Kevin. Her rendition of "what a difference a day makes" is the best version of that song I have ever heard. And she is 8. I have trouble wrapping my brain around that. Billy J
I agree, there are so many own covers I would like to hear her perform with. Everything from Black Sabbath´s gloomy Changes, Björks Joga to Alice Merton's No Roots, or Melanie´s Lay down. Because by listening to Angelina I think she could make something wonderful with those songs if she could put her own personal touch on them
millieo I read somewhere (can’t remember where) that she now lives in the Los Angeles area. I hope that’s true because it increases my chances of catching her perform here where I live. What area are you in?
This is/was a Amercan tv show the view right?. that would make the audience Americans, right? ;) Here in Norway many are quite reserved when being an audience, but with this talented girl who is a superstar, I guess we loosen up a bit too :)
Need I say more? 'What a Difference a Day Makes' was taped shortly after she won Norway's Got talent, and the professionalism in the way they put this performance together to bring out the best in her voice was amazing! There actually is a better version of 'Fly Me to the Moon' that was originally done on a Norwegian talk show. I think she felt a little out of place on The View (I know I would!) 😜, but she still nailed it!😍👍👍 (Did you happen to notice she copies Sinatra almost exactly, even down to the slightly off-key 'TRUE' near the end of the song!)
She has an innate sense of timing completely off the charts as did Frank, so her close rendition is natural. She follows the cardinal rule for any artistic endeavor: Don't mess with the truth.
The mad, flowery hairdo is a Scandinavian, springtime girly thing. Angelina's is a bit over the top in this clip, but many females in the audience also have a flowery hairdo. This is one of Angelina's rare childhood concerts, always for a good cause. Also note how, in these concerts, she always has a band of world-class musicians backing her up - and she is a qualified member of the band, every time! Not many 7-8 year old singers qualify for that! There a two types of backup music this little girl masters: A live one (from a single guitar to a full Big Band) where she fully controls the tempo, or a "canned" one - a taped backup track where she has to adhere to a predetermined, fixed timing. Needless to say, she aces both...
Not my favorite cover of an Amy Whitehouse song (didn't care for the song to begin with). But her cover of "Valerie" is a home run. For me, it's better than the original. Billy J
Thank you for your enjoyable reviews and comments on the wonderful little Angelina. I have been watching her since she won 'Hollands Got Talent' and she still delights and amazes me.'What A Difference A Day Makes' is still probably my favourite. Having been a professional singer, I appreciate her vocals all the more, if she has a fault, it is her breathing with the microphone, which I do find a little off putting, but hey, that is quite an easy technique to master. Her inbuilt instrument is a gift from Heaven.
Hi, great reactions :) Just wanted to point out that English is Angelina's third language, Norwegian and Farsi are her first two. She is simply amazing :) Love from Norway :)
She did do Amy Winehouse's "Back To Black", but because of the adult nature of the lyrics she had to change them. Lyrics aren't strong but her voice is awesome as always.
She was especially invited to sing in the O2 Arena by Quincy Jones's 85th birthday. Here's Angelina Jordan - Fly Me To The Moon - Quincy Jones - 2018 (rehearsal) at O2 Arena - ruclips.net/video/OMkwoqUNNkE/видео.html

A genius in the making, Angelina the storyteller even at 8.
The most puzzling part is where does all that emotion come from? It's like she's lived a thousand lifetimes.
Even at 8 yrs old she has that rasp that makes that jazzy voice sound so beautiful.
She is 8yo singing on a very popular TV show in another country in another langauge with confidence and ease.
Realise that at 8 yo she is being interviewed and singing in her THIRD language!
She's adorable and a star 🌟 what a voice I love it!!! Can't wait till she's 20 she sings better than anyone I know.
I love this young ladies vocal.....She makes a difference in my life everyday:-)))
Angelina is like Mozart, they transform before your eyes from beautiful little girl and goofy guy into GENIUSES.
I doubt that there woud be a professional musician anywhere who wouldn't want to accompany a talent like hers.
