Only guy out here positing the real videos everyone is wanting to see. Only video I’ve seen installing this pump and everything with it. Is there another way to wire in the power to retain the remote start?
Thanks for sharing, I just put the same pump in my mustang. For a trigger wire I used the original fuel pump as a power source to the coil (85&86) on the relay. But it may have caused a battery fail light to come on, still working on the issue. Otherwise that would be a good source so that auto-start still works. I also think I'll switch out to a solid state relay for reliability as suggested in another comment.
So look into the trigger for solid state. I think it's a negative trigger instead of the normal 12v trigger. More complicated install and not worth it. I learned after buying one.
If you ever have issues with the pump cutting out at high rpm's Switch your relay to a hella solid state relay. I was having issues 4 months later with pressure dropping to 0 then back up was the relay that couldn't handle long term pwm pulses
Do you have a gen 2 by chance? No issues on my gen 1. Running into fuel issues now on my gen 2. Not sure if this is the issue but it sounds like it's a possibility. Ordered the SSR.
Would you be able to make a video describing your secondary battery setup and how you use it? Also, can the DW440 be run like the factory pump and preserve the remote start?
I actually had to re do the whole connection. It's just a crappy setup. They need a different connector. I added a grommet along with the hot glue on top. Yes it will dissolve if used on the bottom.
I had my controller mounted in the same location and had corrosion issues after a month also my tuner was not able to adjust the c103 controller so had to install a c102 do you have any check engine lights after install and is it tuned for e85 yet ?
Just loaded my e85 v1, got to do some more logging with fresh tank. I'm currently running into a p0442 small evap leak. I think it's the bulkhead in the hat bc it's not a super tight connection. It also stutters a bit on startup when I first swapped to e85 like it exaggerates the delayed start now.
@@_willalexander.88 I believe that's the same code I'm getting as well should have truck back up and running tomorrow so was ur turner able to adjust the c103 ?
@@ryan04360 he successfully removed the open circuit code p0627. What do you mean adjust the c103 controller? The pump gets its directions from the PWM wire. On Easter morning I dropped the tank again and went through the entire connection process again while greasing every hose connection and sealing around the pump bulkhead. Cleared the code and so far so good. Still annoying having the delay before I start the truck.
They have a C102 and a C103 one is adjustable with the fuel pump driver model the other is not I started with the adjustable and the tunner was not able to adjust so I went to the other controller truck runs great but I am getting a P0627 code how did you resolve your code was it able to be removed in the tune ?

Tuner tried once but didn't help. Maybe someone will figure it out.

What size drill did you use for the bulkhead. Just bought the 810lph and no instruction are included
Man miss the 15 f150 wish you still had it

Check out new video
what is the purpose of the controler?
To translate the pwm signal and the pump
Also will you be upgrading your injectors at all?
NATM. I wanted to see how everything was without injectors first. I'm pretty happy and just loaded the e85 tune. Strong performer already.
Would the hot glue dissolve from the gasoline?
