It's really sad. He is all alone and the girl he loves lives away from him. His father wouldn't let him socialize. He sounds really heartbroken too and believed that he would never be able to end up with Aphmau 😭
Man, I felt bad for Aphmau. Kai wasn’t even treated her like a normal person and only used her to get himself a girlfriend. Then, that kiss that Garroth and Laurance gave her was also messed up of them because they didn’t even realize how that would make her feel and they even put the blame on her in S1. I do love that Aaron basically made her feel better and actually cared about how she was feeling the entire time.
jess just can’t right good characters that well tbh. She made him out to be the bad guy all bcs he didn’t feel the same and she just hated him but she didn’t make him act like he normally does when he’s w aph. They had a good connection, should’ve stayed friends. She was so rude to him and so was he to her

Besides, she said they weren't her type cause they are too serious. You can have your little ship, but they aren't soulmates at all. Aaron is Aph's soulmate, and Aph is Aaron's soulmate. He's also the only one who will listen to Aph, even when he also has a broken heart. Throughout most of season one, he loved Aph but didn't know that she was Shu and as he said he only loved Shu, so he probably tried to distance himself from her because he didn't want to love someone else. But, since they found out they actually did know each other they didn't need to hide anything at all. I mean, Garroth doesn't really even know Aph that well either. Not personally, only one person does and that's Aaron.

This episode was really hard to watch, because I knew EXACTLY how she was feeling. I know what it's like for guys to use you, I know what it feels like to think no one is there when you're hurting. I was actually in a situation that was almost exactly like the plot of this video, and it hurt so bad. I think most people watching this video found it easy to relate to Aphmau.

The main concept in this episode was probably, “Talking is the way to release, keeping it in is trapping you. Talk before it’s to late, love until you can no more, there are always options to talk to someone, you just have to find the right person.”
i didn’t realize how big this episode was watching it as a kid. but now that i’m watching as an adult, so many things in this episode hit so hard. the ending made me cry so hard. my mom is one of those really strict moms who i feel like have to control so many aspects of my life, really similar to sylvana, but at the end of the day she’s still my mom, and she’ll always care, cuz that’s just how moms are. they always just want the best for their kids.

Here in highschool, Emerald Secret where they're separated for a year, and then When Angels Fall where Aaron loses his memories of everyone except for Shu (He doesn't remember Aphmau being Shu)

I think this episode alone taught me what I want of myself and from others. There are so many things that Aph has said in this ENTIRE channel that I relate to. and now I'm a few years older watching these series again I realize how these life lessons probably shaped the way I am, since I was watching Jess at the time your start to figure out who you are.
