- ZOO... yeah, yeah. Save your jokes because I've actually seen this movie, and let me tell you -- it's pretty amazing, especially considering it's pretty much about some pretty, well, crazy stuff. But if Terrence Malick and David Lynch were morphed into one person and made a documentary film about zoophiles -- ZOO would be it. Some of the most amazing cinematography and visuals I've seen in a long time. Cinematic eyecandy and a revolution in doc-filmmaking.

I am so done with humanity... anyone who condones sexual intercourse with animals is insane. There is a point where you can connect with animals, but they don't love you back in the same way. It sucks, and I hate saying it, but they love you because you feed and shelter them.

Incredible work, the camera angles, the wide and close up shots, the mood setting, everything is insane. You all have to see this!
I actually took the time to watch this last night. I thought it was good. Tad slow in parts but overall pretty objective. It was neither pro or anti bestiality in my book. It was just honest.
Both sides of the coin got to have their say. I was actually amazed how honest Mr. Hands' friends were about their lives.
This movie is really quite good given the content. It makes people think and most of us don't like that I guess. My friend acted in it and told me how serious they took the project. The fact that Robinson got any real zoos to talk on film is crazy.
This was an excellent film that I'll never forget.
I believe this series is a prequel to Zootopia!

I watched Zoo the movie with a sense of humor and frivolously tracked down the authentic video which I should not have done. I am still astonished that any human being could "take in" what this man physically took in AND he enjoyed it. These videos are no joke and I am still at a loss for words because the vid was not a fake, crystal clear. I am not surprised he died from a perforated colon!

this was on the sundance channel yesterday. there are several videos that show peoples reaction..i freaked when i saw the real deal.time to pony up and quit horsing around. lol
Of ALL the things humans do with/to animals (eating, skinning, wearing, spaying, neutering, branding, riding, breeding, raising, showing, training etc. etc.) screwing them (or in this case, being screwed by them) is probably the most natural and mutual.
As long as everyone is having fun, it should be fine. Prolly less dangerous than riding one, more fun too, for both.

the subject matter of Zoo is of a disturbing nature, but the director has done a wonderful job with making a thought provoking work of art and not an obvious and pointed piece of condemnation.
Zoophila may appear wrong, but it isn't.
You won't know until you see the subject with our point of view.

No disrespect intended. It's just that the movie only depicted middle aged white males and stallions. I have great affection and compassion for animals, but can't seem to comprehend the sexual attraction thing. Interesing tho, a few years ago visiting friends who have acreage and horses, after riding a horse around for a few minutes, after dismounting (ha ha) I noticed the horse had an erection. My wife joked, 'I think you got the horse excited.' (will continue; running out of characters)
Does that mean that you can't communicate with a human mate who is deaf, or dumb, or blind (or all three)? Animals communicate all the time. In fact, there are many who feel that animals communicate more truthfully and honestly than any human can. Just look at all the petty head games that people use against each other. Animals don't do that.

I am not for this in any way shape or form, but I have actually heard the movie was really good. I am pretty interested in seeing it. And its not about Mr. Hand specifically its mostly focusing on Zoophilia in general. How many movies have been based off of true events that have been decent movies? I know half of you are going to take this comment the wrong way and say something like "You probably fuck horses too." Well I just say don't say that a movie is stupid before you even see it.
i do think it's wrong to have sex with animals but at the same time it's more about the state of mind that the person is in... i would strongly advice some medical or psychiatric help, but... if the horse or whatever animal is willing to do it...

well, this documentary looks really beautiful, really dramatic, but honestly for those who saw the film, you can see that wasn't about love or any of those kind of emotions , the way the guy talks, seems fanaticism...
I also found it interesting and unfortunate that it is illegal in Washington now to make love to an animal thanks to the Mr Hands incident. I thought the movie was well done, and beautiful.
