Multiply works fine, but for darker images you will have to tweak the settings for brightness, contrast and so on. Addition "adds" intensity and dark parts will not get darker. If you start by making the pancromatic band overall neutral gray, it works the best.
@@KlasKarlsson ohhh you're right! I did tweaked the saturation and brightness beforehand cause my images were too dark, I thought that was the standard. Thanks for clarifying!
@@KlasKarlsson does adjusting the brightness, saturation, and/or gamma prior to blending affect the data integrity? Specifically, can we trust the intensities that our sensors report at different saturation values?
Beautiful way to explain PAN Sharpening
Great video! As usual, I learn something new every time!😁👍
This kind of Tutorial is all I need...?.... TY
Have you tried using multiply as the blending mode in the panchromatic band? I tested it over an NDVI and that improved the resolution a lot.

@@jacoblandfield2526 changing these settings does not change the data integrity. You can keep changing settings even after you apply blending modes.
thank you so very much 🥰 i love this tutorial so much
Thank you
thank you sir klas

How can we calculate coastal areas or length of shoreline
Do you know how to do radiometric correction and atmospheric correction of landsat 9?
Hi I need help from qgis program
altering the area of the geojson paligon area
Tank you
Great! Thanks
Hi ! How do I get the land surface temperature with a bundle of Landsat 9 data ?
Not really possible. The IR/TIR bands do not actually measure absolute temperature. You may want to check out Sentinel-3 and the Copernicus program...
Sir How to do time weighted and dynamic time warping analysis .Please show some solution.
First One to watch Here 🙌❤
💡as usual
didnt john nelson make a video about this?
thank you sir klas
