- The Knit Trinity Stitch is a really fabulous textured stitch combination. As you see in a close up of Knit Textured Afghan, the grey panels in this afghan are using the Trinity Stitch.
The Trinity Stitch has raised puffs or pops that consist of 3 stitches that make that happen. They are the Knit 1, Purl 1, Knit 1 inside the same stitch. The next 3 stitches are put together with a Purl 3 Together which jets back the project to reveal the puffs of the Trinity.
There are 4 rows used in a sequence to make the Trinity Stitch happen. Rows 1 and 3 are strictly just 1 purl into each stitch across. Rows 2 and 4 are the Trinity Stitches used. They are not the same instruction because the puffs interlock with each other. Both rows start off differently so the puffs sink between each other.

Excellent! One of the reasons I embraced crochet was for the variety of stitch looks I was able to get. I knew following you in the Knit Crowd would open up my options for creative knitting. TFS, Mikey!
Thank you for teaching knitting. My parents gave me some really nice knitting needles and a ton of yarn for Christmas. They asked my son what I would like for Christmas and he doesn't know the difference between knitting and crochet 😂. So it was very fortunate that you began the knitting tutorials. Know my needles won't sit in a drawer collecting dust. Thank you. If you can teach me how to crochet I'm sure you can teach me how to knit too. 😘
How funny that you are teaching this stitch Mikey. I have just started making this stitch from A pattern that my friend gave me and I'm making A scarf with it. Thanks for the visual. Hopefully my knitting will become as good as my crochet one day.
That's such a beautiful stitch, thanks for doing the tutorial Mikey!
thank you so much for the visual! I can't wait to try the project that you showed at the beginning now!
Thanks so much for the great videos! I think with this stitch though, it needs to be done in multiples of 4, plus 2 stitches (for the first and last).
Sorry.... Now my knitting needles won't collect dust. My dog sat on me😋 and I hit post before editing.
what's the name of this afghan???
give me the app Luther King Martin Luther King movie Young Living
I can't think of a stitch less suitable for beginners than this one. There are so many gorgeous stitches and patterns that are simple enough for beginners to do and enjoy, and make beautiful projects with. I don't understand why you would drop theses difficult projects on your viewers, same as your insistence not to even show the continental knitting method, which is much easier and enjoyable for a lot of knitters (especially crochetters). Instead of showing the joy and ease in knitting, you're making it frustrating and irksome. And honestly, you're not that good a knitter to be giving knitting tutorials.
I followed your crochet channel and was so happy you've started a knitting one, but I'm unsubbing from both now.
Ziv G, excuse you. If you are so perfect go start your own channel. It would be great to see your wonderousness. I picked up knitting needles for the first time in my life last night and I can follow him perfectly as he is clear, concise, orderly and the viewing quality and perspective are excellent. Any new knitter needs practice and patience and this is exciting to try! You are an ungracious nasty one with your ugly comment. I am sure he is able to take any kind advice about what people may like to see but if it were me I would tell you buh bye. 👋
Dang, I know this is an old comment, but why so mean? I'm a beginner following along just fine! This series is supposed to be him learning to knit and bringing us along with him. And I don't think he's obligated to show the continental method if that's not what he uses or learned. There's plenty of those tutorials out there!
