So I played the game Minecraft and challenged myself to beat the game, inside of Minecraft. Minecraft, but challenge in Minecraft. This was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed making / playing this.

Oh, and fundy, if you do this again, do it with Optifine on and smooth lighting off. Optifine has all kinds of FPS fixes going on, and you can disable all of its graphics.

Reminds me of a mod I found that disables the ambient light in Minecraft, so you NEED torches to navigate caves - outdoor lighting at night changed by phase, with a new moon leaving everything PITCH BLACK.
I don't know why but watching this as a pixel artist? A treat, all these clustering colours look beautiful

The problem is the rendering. In full screen the framerate would drop to a point where he wouldnt be able to play at all, or worse, the game would crash

Damn, this takes me back to the "super secret settings" days
A way that you could improve this is make a huge platform covering an entire small map size, then have that one chunk change its blocks according to the background of your pc, then have the maps auto update
Well I'm not sure that would be better, at least not a single chunk, since a single chunk is only 16x16 so it'd have to at least be a 3x3 of maps to make anything visible
@@GatheredStorm_YT I think they meant each chunk would be a pixel. So if you got enough maps it would be higher res.

the first night was so scary, really gave vibes of those horror games with really dim lighting where you can barely see in front of you, where the threats appear just as theyre almost too late. it honestly felt like my first nights in minecraft, but ofc with like infinitely better resolution, but it was sooo dark

You should make this into a difficulty called the “minecraft difficulty”
not seok Just simply force the game into 20 fps and 144p, but with literally 30 different pixel colors
combine this with impossible++ difficulty, and wadzee is no match

i wonder if downloading a higher resolution texture pack could perhaps improve the graphics of minecraft in minecraft. I also presume that if the window was larger the game would look so much better, i do understand how difficult coding that would be.
