Love it! Had no idea it was this easy. I also like how you managed to balance quality to the point content without too much chatter, but still managing to let your personality shine through. Proper quality
Thanks so much!! I cut out 1.5 days worth of nonsense to try keep it all concise ;) Really appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment and hope it was useful!
An awesome video, Becki. 😆 👍 👍 Thank you very much for taking the time to highlight this app. ☺ Cheers to you, my lovely! 🍻 P.S. I'm now the 307th subscriber to your channel.
@@BeckiLea You’re more than welcome. 🙂 I've tried it out briefly and I'm really impressed. Especially with the overall quality and the super low latency. No worries at all whatsoever I look forward to seeing more content from you in the foreseeable future. P.S. If you're wanting to try out an app which will allow you to output a clean HDMI image through an iPhone app I highly recommend Filmic Pro.📱 It's a one time purchase of £7.99 and you get a ton of control over your image, for example, exposure, focus points, white balance, overall quality etc.📹 I suppose that the only downside is you'd need to invest in an official Apple iPhone Lightning To HDMI Digital AV TV Cable Adapter to output the video signal to your computer. 🔋🔌 if you want to take a look at a video example alongside an explanation of how it works check out the Filmic Pro RUclips channel. 🙂👍👍
@@BenjiDWJ ah yes they recently added the clean HDMI out didn’t they? And the ability to film front and rear facing cameras at the same time which is bonkers!! I’ve used the filmic pro app for a while now but haven’t yet tried it for this setup!
Love your videos. Clean Straight forward, just enough nonsense to keep it fun but keeps it informative. Does IV cam work for Mac? I know some other things I've read pointed to using Camera for OBS studio but I don't know if it's actually better yet. Will need to test.
I see you have an A7ii, I have the same here in NZ but have no idea how to make it run off an external power supply. I have looked into dummy batteries but they don't seem to have ones that connect to the wall here. Have you got any suggestions? thank you
Hey! I use a dummy battery for the A7iii, not sure if you could pick up one of these and use an adaptor with it to switch the plug. I do get a warning each time I turn on the camera that the battery isn’t supported but I just close the warning and I’ve never had a problem. This is the one I use if it helps! amzn.to/3qXBpA0
When i connect them via an usb cable it says it's connected but it doesn't show the camera of my phone on my IVCam on my computer its says 'waiting for IVCam connection...' while it's already connected do you know how to fix this and btw my usb-debugging is on and i'm on the same network as my pc.
You may need to hit the little + on the bottom and manually add your IP if it's having trouble connecting. Once I connected mine over wifi first it then picked it up over USB too.
@@BeckiLea I know. That is why I only use music from the RUclips library in my videos. It's not the best sound but at least I have no problems when I upload them. But if I upload them to Facebook directly I get notifications from Facebook. Not easy these days 🙄
@@MichaelGrieve 100% agree. I took the plunge and picked up an Artlist.io subscription for my music in video's but I use that for my commercial projects too so works out ok. Maybe I should look into making my own music again? ;)
Hiya Arjun. This is an easy fix using the Advanced Audio Properties in OBS. You can find this under any of your audio sources in the mixer by clicking the cog icon. In there you can find the audio source that is out of sync and add delay to correct this. Mine was due to using an old Elgato capture card which has a 800ms delay so I just added this delay to the audio so it was matched. Hope this helps!

Amazing, I need to try this for my Teams meetings!
It's awesome isn't it! Absolutely no need to spend money on a webcam when you have a better one in your pocket already :)

Nevermind, seconds later in the video it says it's for IOS. Face Palm.
Got it downloaded on my phone, I'm gonna test it tomorrow 😊
