a good tip is slow cards do not give you the write speed on the packaging, but only the read speed. Also look out for the minimum sustained write speed. I also use Sandisk Extreme Pro cards in all my devices for over 20 years and have never lost a single file or had a card corrupt

I like High Endurance SDcards from Sandisk. I have a few, though not as fast as Extreme Pro. Size of the card in your controller depends on your work flow. Some folks, myself included, download everything to the RC Pro for review and then transfer to computer either via cable removing the card or FTP. The last one is not common but very convenient once you set it up.
The 128GB Sandisk Extreme Pro cards show a read speed of 200mbps and write of only 90mbps on the U3 cards…the 256GB and above cards show read 200mbps and write 140mbps. Confused as to which ones to order.
Major Tom to Tech Drone Control: I noticed that the SanDisk Extreme Pro 128GB V30 A2 isn't mentioned on the DJI Mini 3 Pro recommended list. It mentions the 64 , 256 and 400. Why not 128?

Getting the 64G for the RC and the 128g Sandisk Extreme Pro for the drone that you recommended. Thanks so much for this most recent video on SD cards for the DJI drones. Always watch your videos and get a kick out of you laughing when something goes wrong. (or it's a nervous laugh) LOL
@@supergeodotca I did see that, but rather then getting 2 128G of the Extreme. Like you said. You only need a 64G for the controller as it's only 10870P. So got the por 128 and a 64 for the same price. I feel if you're going to spend that kind of money on a drone. Don't be penny wise pound foolish with the accessories. Thanks again!

Ugh my biggest problem isn't write speed - I have these cards... its jittering when panning. Cannot seem to get a jitterless pan, even when extremely slow. I have done recordings using ND filters and shutter speed twice the frame rate... still happens. Forward / backward is fine... just panning left - right. Cannot figure this one out.
@@rangerrick8220 Did you ever find a solution to the jittering while panning? I just got the drone today and am having the same issue. Samsung Pro Plus 512gb MicroSD. Rated Speed: Read 180Mb/sec, Write 140Mb/sec.

I have been using the Extreme 128 and 256 with no problems. The Extreme is on the DJI recommended list on page 69 of the users manual.

I’m not sure this is the reason this is either shutter speed or the movement is too fast for the frame rate

You don’t the one in the remote its for stuff like screen recordings and if you decide to offload your footage
