Yeah, but the thing that makes him capable of doing that is also the thing that makes him not want to do it. Crowley is a creative mind tasked by uncreative minds with destroying a world built on creativity.
As long as it doesn't take away the fun, I think he'd only burned everything does if it'd save enough to enjoy living where he does.

I love the fact that technically Crowley has the ability to teleport wherever he needed to go, but it is absolutely plausible that he just didn't think of that.

How many times I've watched this scene and only now just noticed that when Crowley puts the Mozart CD in, it slowly turns into Queen
It is more than just the Mozart because all tapes left in his car for more than about a fortnight metamorphose into Best of Queen albums.

David Tennant as Crowley (and honestly pretty much everyone in this show) is one of THE best casting decisions in history.
Redundant. David Tennant would be the best casting decision in a snuff film.
David tenant being cast is the best desicion any TV series or a movie can make. In my humble opinion 👍👍👍
Yeah the casting on this show was great, but particularly Tennant. He's able to straddle that line between brilliant, heroic, desperate, insane, and psychopathic all at once. And like all the best people who have played the Doctor, he can shift gears from one emotional extreme to another while keeping it believable and coherent. Which you really need for an unpredictable character like Crawley.

The line "This day's already got better" is the most perfect showcase for what I like to call "The Tennant Growl". That highly specific voice growl that only David Tennant is capable of.
Like when Aziraphale says “I don’t even like you” and Crowley answers “You dooo” ❤️

You know, the M25 becoming a blazing ring of hellfire in the books was just rather funny... but watching those people chanting "Hail the great beast, devourer of worlds" as the road erupts in flames beneath them is actually genuinely disturbing.
Even more if you think about the hundreds of people and families who died in those flames

It's actually more of an idea exclusive to the show. In the book, they only say that his eyes start glowing red and reality shifts around him whenever he pushes himself to his limit.

Although there was a screenplay for a movie from ages ago that was suppose to use Johnny Depp and Robin Williams as Crowley and Aziraphale respectively, but they ditched it because it didn't end up being so good.

If you haven't seen it before, I recommend watching Supernatural, because Mark A. Sheppard is FANTASTIC as Crowley in this series.

What I love is that the second the Bentley started moving you can hear how terrified hastur is.

It amazes me the amount of frightful headway we'd make if Crowley put this much effort and dedication into his actual job.
You can just feel that Pratchett channeled his personal disdain for that road into it, must been cathartic to write that it goes up in flames.

The M25 was meant to be 1 of 4 ring motorways around london which would have improved traffic around london tremendously.
So yeah I can imagine this is how it went down when the plans were scrapped.

Just when you think you couldn't hate M25 more haha. One of the most epic scenes in the show. Crowley is my spirit animal, and Tennant was the absolute BEST choice to be playing him. One of those shows that is as amusing as the first time, no matter how many times you watch it. Brilliant work!
