@@MeynMotorGroup Oh yeah, interior as well. The interior of the Accord, especially, is so bland. That chicken coop wire on the dash, looks like an afterthought. 😂
Guess I will be keeping my 2024 SR Altima 2.0 VCT. The turbo 2.0 is a great engine. I still prefer the VQ3.5, but the 2.0 VCT is far and away better than the 2.5
So unfortunate for people buying their first car these days from Nissan , Honda, Toyota, and Mazda, zero excitement. I was lucky enough to own in my lifetime a 76 & 82 280z, 76 Celica GT, 86 Supra, 99 Maxima SE, Honda CRX Si, Prelude SI, Mitsu Starion ESI-r, and a 94 3000gt non-turbo, could not afford that VR4. What do they offer to that young 18-30 year old buyer that will bring them in and make them become a loyal customer as they get older? Miss the good old days.
I mean nothing's stopping people from buying used cars everything you mentioned were used cars. Someone can go out and get a $10k Boxster is it wise, no but neither are the cars you listed out. Exciting stuff always exists just depends on your risk tolerance. Eco turds existed in the 70s-90s as well it's what normal people drive.
@@MeynMotorGroup I hear you but now that I can easily purchase new I would love the "option" to buy from my personal dream list 😂...Accord Type-R, Maxima GTR, Mazda 3/6/CX-5 Mazdaspeed, Camry GR, Legacy STi, Forester STi
Young kids today have the chance to buy a Tesla Model 3, which trumps every ice vehicle you drove back in the day to modern day vehicles on the road now.
I had one as a rental recently. I'm an old man now. I can't get used to that CVT. Everything else seeming really nice. If it only had a torque converter auto 8 speed.
Yea anyone who has experienced these new Altimas know how good they are internet just like to parrot and regurgitate the same lines thinking they're so smart but reality is these people have not tried these cars.
The SR Altima with the turbo is probably the 3rd best FWD sporty sedans. Only the accord and Mazda 6 handle better the Mazda 6 was neck and neck. Looks wise the Altima is the better looking out of the Japanese group.
SV trim is great have one as FWD milage is also great almost 40 mpg on a highway But definitely go with premium package, it maks world of a difference . Smooth ride , shifts just fine
I will miss these guys cutting me off while making last minute lane changes. Oh wait, I'm wrong. There will be clapped out Altimas for generations to come!
CVT'S made by Jatco aren't better than other brands! In fact they are much worse than other brands. I only trust CVT'S used by Toyota and Honda, Nissan is a Hell No! If you by a Nissan equipped with a CVT you'll regret it when it fails and leaves you stranded on the side of the road!!😢 the happen to my co worker's new Maxima in 2015. I purposely picked him up in my old classic and super reliable 1988 Maxima SE 5 speed manual. Nissan needs to Stop using POS CVT'S. I will never buy another Nissan until they meet my standards either offer a manual transmission or a conventional automatic transmission. Like the one in the new frontier or pathfinder then I would consider buying a sedan. My 1988 Maxima SE 5 speed will easily outlast any CVT.
Friend of mine bought a NEW Corolla back in 2011 transmission crapped out on him within a week...let's stop worshiping this stuff they all suck and they don't have our best interest in mind.
We just bought 2023 ultima absolutely love it
I do prefer the styling of the Altima, over the Accord, and the Camry! Nice vid as always, Kevin.
Yea my friend sharp looking ride for sure decent interior as well thanks for dropping in!

Same
And I just loved Mazda 6

I bought Altima 2024 SR for 26k 4k off msrp. You can’t beat this car for 26k, you literally can’t find anything better in this size!
It doesn't look too bad and got our favorite interior type :)
Yea my friend I'm a fan of this not much to complain about

Yea CVT is a turn off for many I found it performed well in the new Altimas but sad the Mazda 6 no longer exists that had the auto
I rent a lot of cars. The best car I ever rented was a 2024 Altima SR. I drove it for a week all over New York & New England.

Why no hybrid powertrain?
I fear that this is maybe the last Altima, thanks 😀
Nah they'll keep making it it's one of their best sellers

Yo my bro 🤝😎👍🏾👍🏾
Yes sir thank you for dropping in on this Altima vid
@@MeynMotorGroup No problem my bro 🤝😎👍🏾👍🏾🫡
If you take the hubcaps off and smash the bumper you get 100 more hp
The Altima is being discontinued. The 2025 is the last Year. The rear lights on the Altima looks old school.

Oh wow, one change lmao 🤎
A CVT doesn’t shift
I mean make a hybrid at this point
2025 is last year for Altima 😢

hell no to the VC engine! it's like a Rube Goldberg machine with no efficiency gains
it's a performance engine that's supposed to take the place of a V6 it's not meant to be efficient
Altima has been going downhill for quite sometime
