  • This is a clip of a 45 minute backboard drill session hitting lefty at the Jefferson County Court House Tennis court.
Over the past several months I have been drilling with partners and not playing any games due to three injuries on my right side: achilles tendinitis, tennis/golfers elbow and trapezius strain. The injuries occured during dog walks from strong sporadic jolts.
Last weekend I blew out my right shoulder playing games at the
OneShot Pickleball Demo Day held during the Gig Harbor Pickleball open play.
So, I have decided to drill lefty for a couple of weeks to give my right side an oppuntunity to heal.
    Focus
    Watch ball hit paddle
    Be consistent
    Bend knees
Use body weight to stroke through the ball
    Loose paddle grip
    Get into the zone
Get right arm into the stroke for balance
    Move feet
    Sweat
Feel the burn in my right leg

I noticed the paint dried on the back board as well. Just kidding. I also like drilling against a wall.
