Imagine this engine if Dan Gurney and AJ Foyt had this monster to kick Ferraris ass in 1967.. They did it great at Lemans in 1967, but this engine would make the Ferraris appeared to be stopped
Amen! Degreeing a cam is the same as checking rod or main bearing clearance. Just something you need to do so you know what you have & exactly where it is installed. Too many mass produced parts are not 100% on. How many times is true TDC not on the factory mark? Way more often than you would think. Nice FE & I love it!
I TOTALLY LOVE to LISTEN to A PROFESSIONAL, THANKS !!!
Those are some serious cylinder heads!! I love them!
Can't wait to hear this beast on the dyno and see the numbers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn nice engine!!!
Beautiful work as always Brent. Can’t wait to hear it scream on the dyno and see the results. Also the that big cube Cleavor!

Sweet looking build! Hey, were you working on a Flat Plane crank FE?
Can you install a turbo set up on engine like that to make more power
That would've made me quite happy in my 64 Falcon. But I was twenty way back then when I owned it and I would've killed myself! Lol
🎉
Will the end user be able to get to the spark plugs easily with the headers directly over them?
Yeah, that looks like a challenge. Very unusual spark plug location right under the exhaust port.
So what do you think about putting turbos on the engine like you have built there?
Do you happen to have a part number for the arp main stud youre using with the extra stud for the oil pickup?
Why would this head and a head with the same valve arrangement for every cyl, like an LS, both be referred to as symmetrical?
How high will you spin this build?
How often do you calibrate your torque wrenches? Do you do it your self? If so please share.
