Yep protein treatments are good for thickening hair like crazy. I do protein treatments every once a week, my hair is growing like crazy

a) What did you think of the treatment?
b) Did you use heat to make it hard? Heat is how the protein bonds most effectively. Unless the instructions have changed, you're supposed to use heat.
I did! 🙃 I didn’t add out into the video bc i didn’t want to make the video too long. the treatment was effective and i highly recommend adding protein into monthly hair care routines.

hi! i have 4B hair and I was wondering if this routine would work during the summer when the humidity is really high! And how often do you do this routine? usually my hair the next morning looks like a tornado and i have to redo it! so could i do it everyday?

It’s so helpful! I feel like giving my hair the attention it needs after making my hairdresser suffer
For the protein treatment its better to put the white bottle in a spray bottle and spray it on your hair and you’re not supposed to twist or wrap your hair up because it affects the product and you’re just supposed to let your hair stay wrapped and try not to touch it at all during the process. Also you’re supposed to go under a dryer or blow dry until it’s hard. It helps the protein absorb and get into your hair more.
sooooooo I've been natural for years after big chopping in 2017, Hair was tea... THEN i decided to get locs 2 years ago and i just combed them out like a couple weeks ago. My hair is soooo damaged and im pretty sure im going to start including protein to my hair routine too. Thank you for this video. I think i'll try the rosemary water too.

I love your hair videos, but how do you dry it, and if you air dry it, how long does it take? one more question, do you start applying product after it dries or before it finishes drying? I’m only asking because I’m gonna transition from relaxed to natural and I need to knowwwwww 😂
With that protein treatment you’re not supposed to manipulate your hair after you apply the 1st step. Detangle , apply and move on to the next section. So leave your hair out but work fast and then sit under a hooded dryer or use a blow dryer to dry your hair it should feel stiff when fully dried. Then you wash it out don’t try to manipulate your hair with it in just run the water through and squeeze until it is fully rinsed out. Then step 2 if you manipulate your hair with the 1st step it can really f#$k up your hair I’ve seen may horror stories here on yt.

You missed a whole step. You have to apply heat with the protein treatment (sit under dryer/blow dry until hard). The heat will adhere the protein to your hair. The hair should be left untethered without twist! Run under warm water until all is out and then add conditioner. (2 min is not enough time) you should proceed like it's a deep conditioner and put plastic cap on and sit under dryer again.
i twisted to keep it from getting detangled and i used heat just didn’t record it to save time. the treatment actually sat in my hair longer than supposed to. but relax i kinda know what i’m doing. 😚 thanks though!
