Yepp, that's pretty much want I want to do right now. Had Canon all my life and when the last one broke I needed a new one fast and ended up with an HP. I pretty much want to stab it with a chainsaw (yes.. I know what I said) on a daily basis. It keep claiming that the ink is empty and it's NOT *frustrated*

This was a good laugh! I managed to fix it by leaving the printer on, unplug power cord, wait for a full 60 seconds, plug power cord back in, turn printer on. That seems to stop the cartridge error.
