Japan has such a deep, dynamic and technically capable team now that outside of the big 3 (Nishida, Ishikawa and Ran Takahashi) so many guys can sub in at any point in the match and hold their own against the world's best.

Ishikawa, consistently amazing as always, both offensively and defensively, nothing new here. Nishida always fun to watch especially against lower ranked teams. Ran's lack of presence was definitely noticeable. Hopefully, we see him back on the court soon. Sekita continues to prove why he's one of the best setters in the world, and feels like he's only getting better with age. His tosses were beautiful despite all the bad passes he had to deal with. Even the younger/newer players looked comfortable hitting his tosses.
