    Check out the rest of our channel for dyno videos, tech, videos and more. We are a shop that designs, machines, and builds engines. We work with all types of power adders including superchargers, nitrous oxide, specializing in turbocharged combinations. We utilize our in-house chassis dyno to get safe and reliable power over several combinations. We work on vehicles powered by multiple different ecus, and engine combinations. From turbo 4g63 setups making 80+ psi of boost, to NA 5.0l mustangs. we don't forget the Chevy guys though, also working on multiple LS engines in multiple swap vehicles using several different types of engine management.

    Good info, unfortunately we dont have many places around here that will touch a carburetor motor at all. So we are looking around to do it our selves the best we can with no dyno or timing light. We have a 750 holly brawler w/ 4 fuel adjustment screws. If you have any more tips to help that would be great.

    What were you pushing on at the 10:10 mark? I get what you were trying to do, just curious what piece of the carb it is.

      Pushing on the accelerater pump arm. It feeds raw fuel pumped and pushed up through the metering block and up into the squirter.

    Do you think those -8 lines are overkill or do you really need them?

    • @ForceEngineering
      @ForceEngineering  Год назад

      For the power this is making and the fuel it on it is overkill. We definitely prefer to error on the side of to large for fuel system stuff thought. Much better than to small!

    Why would you have to have the car running to check the float level if you have an electric pump and it's on?

    • @ForceEngineering
      @ForceEngineering  Год назад

      The engine running changes the pressure in the float bowl.

    Do you level the carb when checking fuel level

    • @ForceEngineering
      @ForceEngineering  Год назад

      No. Not worth it. A vehicle when operating is almost never in a situation that allows the fuel in the carb to be level. That would have to be 0 G force in any direction along with the carb being level. It never happens.

      That said. Use common sense here. I wouldn't try to set float levels on a hill.
