I have a MK7 w/Unitronic stage-1+ and a DKM stage-2 clutch. Unbelievable power without bolt-ons. On paper 310hp/345 ft.lb. and a very linear delivery throughout the rpm range. Although there is no such thing as enough power - that tune is freakin' plenty!
I live in Scotland and have steadily been tuning my golf gti 2016 for the past 3 years. First thing I’d advise is getting 19 inch quality wheels with Michelin pilot super sport tyres. Then get a stage 1 along with a ramair intake. Next mod I’d suggest would be a dogbone of great quality, then a non resonated cat back milltek exhaust. Live with it for a while, then do the suspension and brakes.
Cool build mate! Own the gti clubsport & will get the Michelin pilot sport 4S or similar next summer. For winter tires running Dunlop Winter Sport 5's. Im at Stage 1 BSR Performance & think i will stay there pushing 360 hp / 462 torque (as clubsport got golf r's is38 turbo) On a real nice filtered bassey brittish Cobra Sport catback. Plans are the DSG Tune from TVS Stage 2+ Engineering next. Will handle up to 500 nm torque & hopefully save my clutch 😄 Check my channel if you like on the Clubsport build mate!
I'm from Scotland too, and have been advised to upgrade to a Sachs performance clutch before getting a performance engine tune due to slipping issues. Have you had this issue?
I have a 2021 gti thats stock. I always drive it in sport cause regular drive the throttle response sucks. Will stage 1 make the regular drive mode more aggresive with the throttle response?
Question I have an 06 vw gti 2.0 turbo I have air intake down pipe n It was running real good till I put the s3 injectors ..after the injectors feels like it's dumping to much fuel I can't really drive it normal cause check ingine light flashes on n off would I need a new ecu to get it tuned right? Or what stage is my car in so I can order the right runner n what runner or ecu can I use
Cobb supposedly says you can do the stage 3 93 octane with “their” bolt ons. But also have heard requires the is38 or aftermarket. Who knows anymore. Wondering if your AF goes to 29.4 when you’re off the throttle coasting with the dsg
Yeah every manufacturer says their brand but you can get away with similar parts it just wont be fully optimized. Yes my AF ratio goes to 29 at idle and decell, but i asked a VW tech and it's normal
Also the noises are partially from yoir speakers. Use your obd11 to turn off and see what you hear then.

@@jaitek hi bud, I’ve got a dsg so no issues. If you have the manual, I’d strongly recommend an upgrade.
@@kennythomson4934 Thanks Kenny.

Everyone forgets that upgraded turbo comes off engines with build internals. Forged in fact Your gti is not forged. So your asking for it
I have as you said for stage 3. I just put on an Is38 and will a cobb stage 3 ots cover it safely? I haven't drove it and can't afford A custom tune.

ecu needs a remap cuz of injectors ofcourse
