Dude gets TWO, TWO freaking minutes of Screen-Time, and in those two minutes, flipped the entire film on its head. They just don’t make em like this any more folks.
I love this movie. The only issues I had: Give Leon/Hookers the cell phone. Leon’s shot did not have “an exit wound the size of a small tangerine”. The shooter is just walking through the crime scene with a rifle case.
That's his own personal mobile phone. Why would he give that away? Leon's bullet went through his shirt and into his body so you wouldn't have seen the size of the hole due to the blood pouring out obstructing the view. (But the FX guys could've made the tangerine hole more obvious). Apparently he's a special entity so only the victim could see him.
@@gh0510 of course it’s his personal phone. It would also have gotten him out of that situation. He offered all his cash and watch, I’m sure the phone was of no concern. Leon would have a literal hole in him, not just a small bloody circle. It wouldn’t have gone through Leon.
@@Soil_Bound I said all that so u can continue loving the film without issues. He probably didn't wanna give his phone up coz it had a lot of important contacts making it irreplaceable. Money is replaceable.
@@gh0510 I do love the film. I’m not trying to argue, all I’m saying is if you’re trapped in a phone booth with a rifle on you, and being assaulted by someone, you’d pretty much give up anything.
The whole time I was thinking that Stu's apprentice (Adam I think) was the caller. But a random don that just slips right by the police crew is just as terrifying.
Him killing the pizza guy sort of ruined the ending for me. As his mission was of a man on the moral high ground. And he kills a guy to make his exit more cleanly. Really ruined how your suppose to see this man. If the police had said something when recovering the body that he was a known person to the police would make us see why he sacrifices him. But no details of him is given. So its saying to us he killed an innocent man because he didn't want to be captured.
I think that's the point. The Caller talks a good game about holding people like Stu accountable for their bad behavior toward others, but when police are running toward the Caller, he makes an innocent man the patsy for his actions. He acts like he's a delivered of necessary vengeance, but in the end, he's a coward hypocrite hiding behind curtains and a gun the same way Stu was a cheating liar hiding behind fancy Italian clothes.
That murder - I think - perfectly underlines The Caller's twisted sense of justice, that is, to bring justice only for his own gain, but not for the society at large. Maybe his goals are understandable, but the methods are not.
Ahh yes cause the police totally wouldn’t notice the suspicious man with a very obvious rifle case talking to the victim of a shooting that happened minutes ago and then walking through the LITERAL CRIME SCENE, ahh I love 2000s movies
If this was real life, you’d think one of these or all of these things would’ve happened to get Kiefers character arrested or gunned down on the spot.. A. Someone from across the apartment would’ve noticed him with a big sniper rifle and rang the cops..it was in broad daylight after all B. When the brazen sniper just casually walks up to the ambulance and reveals himself to Stu, you’d think Stu would shout out and alert the cops that he’s the real killer, and C. The sniper walking amongst all the cops with an obvious sniper rifle case..um can somebody sense something..haha
A. I think he was in an old abandoned building B. Stu was high on meds C. I'd give you that one. But they probably thought they got the right guy. I mean Stu had already met him earlier on.

The killer is his father ( FBI ) who left him when Stu was a kid and was following him later on to check on him. Hope your doubts are cleared.
Joel Schumacher
I fucking love this movie 😂 that man was evil asf
One of the few movies I can watch repeatedly 😅
Who else is watching Phone Booth after the news today about the final phone booth shutting?
and here i am reminiscing about this movie after the news that new york city today removed the last pay phone….. im only 34 and man do things change quick.
Nice shoes you hung up.
Walking around with his rifle case straight thru the scene of the crime
Dude gets TWO, TWO freaking minutes of Screen-Time, and in those two minutes, flipped the entire film on its head.
They just don’t make em like this any more folks.
Ringing phone has to be answered
I didn't want to answer phone again
I love this movie. The only issues I had:
Give Leon/Hookers the cell phone.
I’m not trying to argue, all I’m saying is if you’re trapped in a phone booth with a rifle on you, and being assaulted by someone, you’d pretty much give up anything.
... and the Cops are completely oblivious to the possibility that this just might be their sniper! Of they'd of only checked.....
What a top movie!
So, he left the rifle in a hurry... but brought the case with him? Lol
That was his spare rifle,he had 2
The whole time I was thinking that Stu's apprentice (Adam I think) was the caller. But a random don that just slips right by the police crew is just as terrifying.
He is not a caller when caller tell him to apologize his wife and Pam , Adam was there in the crowd.
Doesn’t it? Chills
A. Someone from across the apartment would’ve noticed him with a big sniper rifle and rang the cops..it was in broad daylight after all
B. When the brazen sniper just casually walks up to the ambulance and reveals himself to Stu, you’d think Stu would shout out and alert the cops that he’s the real killer, and
C. The sniper walking amongst all the cops with an obvious sniper rifle case..um can somebody sense something..haha
the sniper was too smart to reveal himself until he was sure stu was too drugged out to yell.
its also possible stu is imagining that scene.
A. I think he was in an old abandoned building
B. Stu was high on meds
C. I'd give you that one. But they probably thought they got the right guy. I mean Stu had already met him earlier on.
The cops obviously thought that the pizza guy was the sniper and he was dead there was no suspect to look for anymore.
Ah great movie. Phone booth aka Jack Bauer's day off
Lol, it’s just like Jack, get some time off CTU, do some vigilante work.
@@amb-yz9ee Only that phone booth was filmed 4 months before the start ever episode of 24. Phone booth was filmed in November 2000 while 24 first episode was filmed in March 2001.
When you play this story in reality, fear kicks in 😉
i love Kiefer Sutherland's voice
Same, could listen to it all day
