Nice to watch some normal life stuff, amid the craziness of the world right now. Lucky Leaw keeps on keepin on. You guys are livin the good life. All the best...look forward to your next episode.
Thank God you got out to a safe place . Wish we were young again looks like fun. My travels are in a tractor trailer all over the USA. Take care Carl and Deana.
Hello beautiful people! So wonderful to see you! I love seeing Lucky Leaw getting pampered. He worked so hard to bring you to so many gorgeous places 😍
Hello Sara and Luca, happy to see you are well and busy, busy! Looking forward to your next chapter with Lucky LeAW! Safe travels and hugs from sunny Arizona 💖😎💖
So glad you guys are doing well and Lucky LeAw is fix and maintained, I agree with others here, be safe, take it day by day and try to overnight in an area you know is alright to be in. Love Ciao 🤗
Check the bottom of the water pump. It has a small hole on the bottom that can weep. If that is good tighten all the hose connections and add a can of stop leak that will seal a small leak. Good luck.
it's like Lucky Lou went to the dentist to get a couple fillings :) open wide Lucky Lou :) there you go all better :) now let head north to warmer weather back to Cancun :) thanks for the video guys stay well much love and always thumbs up !
Can you see any fluid leaks on the ground? Oil milky looking if not check the tailpipe for steam could be a head gasket starting to leak. I've used blue devil head gasket sealer on mine 2 years ago and it's still holding I have 350,000 miles on my Ford van has to be done a certain way so not to plug up the heater . Good luck!
Luca, Sara good to see you guys Lucky LeaW must be feeling good happy to see you took care of some thing on Lucky. Thanks again for a great video, it’s good to see that you always meet wonders people on the road. Also please be safe wherever you go, this virus is bouncing around so quickly. Take care of you, everyone please try to do your best to take care 🙏🏻 muchos besitos Sara, Luca, Beep Beep for Lucky LeaW 🚚
you guys are great !! Just found you..I am just starting a van build. hope to be on te road in December with my 4 dogs. I am 68 retired. thank you so much !!
Hopefully you wont get stuck , but if you do , remember, the first step each day out the back of LuckyU is the first step on another adventure. Where ever you are you will make us smile xx
Hi Sara and Luca : ) It's wonderful to see this video! It lets us know you are still traveling and safe : ) NOW... About your coolant leak; Replace your radiator cap. Kathy & I had the same issue and could never fond why. After months of this, we saw the problem - the radiator cap. This needs to be changed once a year. There is a rubber ring around this cap that wears out. We hope this helps ; ) Stay safe... We love you guys and are looking forward to your next episode!!! Jerry & Kathy
Just came back from a 1000 mile trip in my Ford F250 with the new Shock absorbers and the Camper on. Lots of it off road. the difference was remarkable. very nice. Made a very noticeable difference lots smoother and stable. Bilstine shocks.
Your radiator fluid loss could also be in your heater core. Usually when you set the heater to defrost with recirculating air it will smell of anti freeze briefly and the inside windshield will try to fog up. Checking spark plugs for differences will sometimes indicate a leaking head gasket also. That old Ford has been an Iron a Horse for you, that is a good year for Ford trucks. Be safe n enjoy the ride!
So glad your doing well. Stay safe and enjoy!! Love all the Italians singing on their balconies back in your home!!! Hope things get better in Italy soon so you can see your families.
So nice to see your beautiful faces! I have been concerned about you. Stay healthy and head back towards CR, I have a room on a mountain to keep you socially distanced! Besos y Abrazos!
Stay safe, you are in the pampas, cattle country.. there are some sights but pretty boring up to Buenos Aires.. but it is kind to lucky Leaw.. stay beautiful ;) peace
Here's an idea! When you finish your adventure, you may be able to sell your vehicle to a auto museum. Ford would possibly be interested with a high mileage vehicle. (Changing oil is very easy. So to save yourself money, try doing it yourself. You could use an old milk/water container for the used oil. In America auto parts stores take used oil so that citizens don't dispose of it in the environment. You obviously can stock up on oil and air filters.)
Get a new radiator cap, which may stop unknown leak. There are products for the leak in the coolant radiator system for small temporary leaks. Carry extra oil filter. Buy self tapping metal sheet screws 1/2" and or 3/4" , 3/4" fender washers ( big washer with small hole ) and metal galvinized 25' roll strapping for fixes, hardware stores for fixes.
Too bad you couldn't have a new air filter sent ahead, glad to see your keeping up with the maintenance since it's very important. As a previous person mentioned you so keep an eye out of where the coolant is leaking, that can be very hazardous if you are somewhere remote. Your oil didn't look contaminated with coolant based on what the color looked like. Be safe out there. Thanks for taking us along.
So glad u guys are ok. Good idea to not cross boarders unless a must. I did send u email on collaborative effort and this is a great time 4 it since so much is at a standstill. Love and prayers to u and fam.
I like your travel-log videos guys and wish you safe travels always! subscribed today. PS- The coolant leak may be a sign that your water pump is going though I see you changed it 5 mos. ago, maybe check that bolts are tight and the gasket sealed properly. The bigger problem which I did end up fixing were cracked cylinder heads. The mechanic said I might want to junk it and buy a new truck but instead I changed the heads at $2200. But I really like my truck. Good luck and take God with you!
you probably have a leak in your radiator somewhere....a large tablespoon of course black pepper and it will plug the leak and not plug up the coolant system. Just add the pepper in the top of the radiator when the truck is cold and then top with water or antifreeze ...make sure you are using a 50 percent mix with water and antifreeze. As soon as the engine and coolant heat up the pepper will find the leak inside the radiator and it will seal it. I learned this from an old truck driver and have used it successfully
I just heard the borders are closing. I saw Trent and Allie are coming back to the U.S. I truly pray for you two Sara and Luca. I am waiting for your next video to make sure you are both safe. Blessings to you both 💖
Yes the borders are closing and there will be mandatory quarantine for everyone in Argentina starting from Midnight. Unfortunately flights to Italy are not available in this moment, we can’t reach Buenos Aires and can’t move. Really bad situation. Love
@@leaw You will pull through this. Les mando un gran abrazo. Stay in touch with all your beautiful people who truly care about you both. If you are losing coolant, you should look for (radiator? hose?) and try to fix the leak before it gets worse. It might leave you stranded at some point.
I'm happy to see Lucky LEAW got some attention, and that you're taking care of yourselves, too. I've also never caught anything fly fishing, but the process is fun! How are your families doing in Italy? Stay safe and healthy!
I am so excited to see you guys pop up again it used to be almost everyday and I know that you said you were going to do a a little bit less but I missed you I haven't even watched your episode yet because I'm so excited to see it that I had to message you guys and thank you ahead of time because I'm about to watch it so please don't leave us keep up all of the awesome content Aaron I'm looking forward to watching your video right now and I just wanted to say hello from Fresno California it is currently 46 degrees Fahrenheit so it's really cold and it's 9:30 in the morning right now when I'm watching your video Fresno California if you look it up I'm halfway between LA and Yosemite and San Francisco so it's a pretty happening spot anyway I'm going to watch a video right now I might comment again later but I love you guys I'm glad to see your video again
Usually when you loose radiator fluids and there showed no external leak,it is a blown gasket inside the motor, some ways to ck this is . Do you have steam coming out your egsaust tail pipe. Also do under the oil filler cap is there any white foam on it. These are major jobs to do.
Hermoso video, el clima del sur no es de mi gusto pero me alegro muchísimo que se hayan sentido como en familia. cuidense mucho un beso grande de Monique IPA y Luis
If you continue to drive on extra rough roads, those cracks will break again. You should try smoother roads so Lucky Leuw makes it. I would suggest a metal patch to reinforce the torn metal areas. And lose some weight on your vehicle if possible. I have had experience doing long hauls in old vehicles. God bless you both!
Take good care of yourselves. My thoughts are with your fellow Italians. This is a heavy-hearted time for all of us. Rest well now that you are on mainland. Maybe now would be the time for all of us to write to Ford? People have a lot of time on their hands . . . .
Wow, that oil was black! Older engines just don't burn as cleanly as the newer ones. I have a 91 Subaru with 180,000 miles on it and its oil isn't nearly that black when I change it. But it has fuel injection, a catalytic converter and is controlled by an earlier version of an engine computer. I still change oil and the filter every 3,000 miles (about 5,000km). I also have a 76 Toyota Landcruiser and it has 11 zerk fittings for lube, it originally had 14, but I replaced some tie bars that have sealed joints. I went with a compressed air driven lube gun, it's hard to push the handle on the manual ones. I've always changed oil and done lube jobs myself, however, to carry a pan to change the oil and dispose of the oil in unfamiliar places is difficult so I always have someone else do it when I'm traveling.
Fingers crossed you don't have a broken head gasket!! guzzling coolant, if there is no other apparent leak is one of the symptoms.. 🥺 good luck to you!
Try to find out where the coolant leak is coming from. Put some cardboard or newspapers under the engine compartment and allow it to drip on the surface overnight to help locate the drip. Did you change the lubricant in the two differentials recently?
I love watching your videos guys thanks
