My heart breaks watching this. Both of you deserve to be treated respectfully. I understand there’s a lot of fear out there but we are all in this together and need to work together if we are to get through this. Stay safe.
The love you have for each other is the way to survive. You are so beautiful and you are strong. You started a adventure that was difficult to begin with. That courage and love will surely serve you now. Prayers and ❤️
Good morning beautiful people! I love that you are trying to get answers for all overlanders. It's a worldwide movement and every country needs to have a plan for all overlanders. Un Beso y abrazo fuerte distancia!
Guys. These are strange times. Everything is difficult and confusing and scary. Sadly that means people are suddenly scared of each other. the rules are changing everywhere, every day, for everybody. It’s hard enough when I’m home in a secure familiar place with family and friends nearby for support, I know it is 1000x harder for you! but you two are strong and brave and flexible, I know you will find a way to navigate through these complicated times. You will find people that really want to help... I could see many of the people in the video seem to honestly want to help, they just don’t know what to do, just like you. I hope you find a good place where you can be happy staying for awhile. We are wishing the best for you.
Deb Y, such an awesome, helpful, pro-active, insightful response to these folks' dilemma right now. Thank you for such a compassionate set of comments, truly.
I am just amazed at how well you are handling such a terrible situation. Such honest beautiful people with great integrity , thinking of others while you are trying to survive and figure out an impossible problem. It makes no sense they are making you go where its crowded with other people. My best wishes for your safety. Terrible to be treated badly because people do not see you for who you are. Your positive attitude and great emotional intelligence is inspiring. Please keep us informed every day! New sub today,!
It's a Pandemic - your lemonade line is not going to work....this will go on for a very long time (1 to 2 years) and most travellers like you will end up in quarantine camps - I recommend strongly you make your way home while you still can - trust me you don't know what you are in for.
Hi Guys check with the Matneys. They found a safe place to camp out at. Maybe they have space for one more van? It may be too hard to get there, but maybe not. They are in Argentina as well. All the best.
My heart goes out to you as a couple and your country’s plight.... together, we’ll all get through this, love and best wishes to you and yours from the uk.
If you saw their video, it was on the 18th of march, when the earthquake hit Utah. Things changed so fast in the hours, and days after that. All flights to Italy were canceled.
Italy is not safe, so they cannot go back there. With flights cancelled every where, every minute... I don't think they could even travel if they want to! I know Canada has sent urgent evacuation flights to various countries to get our citizens out because there are NO commercial airlines flying anymore, and if they are, no tickets available. What you two are saying is right - it is dangerous for you to continue to travel about the country - not just for yourselves but Argentinians as well! I truly hope there is a solution as heads cool. Please stay safe. Take care.
I don't mean to be rude, but they traveled with them and are super close friends. Of course they know what's going on and everyone's videos are delayed from real time by a week or two or three!! I knew Trent and Allie were back in the USA 3 videos ago before announced it today.
Good times.......... This is a character building (and testing) event. You two have a wealth of resources in your level headed nature and love for each other. It’s always a beautiful morning!
They are flying by the seat of their pants everywhere. I live in NY, but I'm in New Jersey, my 92yrold dad went into the hospital for Pneumonia before this hit here. Someone needed to stay with my mom who has dementia. That was me. So now with all the testing centers opening, they are only for residents. I'm not a resident. I called the local state Government rep and he said you know we never considered people like you and I know there are others, we will need to address that. Plus he added, if you do get the virus and be in the hospital. We have nothing in place to make sure your mom is ok, putting her at even greater risk. It's been decades since we have had to pull together. Wishing you both safe journey to a safe destination. Praying for the world.
Keep well and hoping the best for your parents. Your situation is very telling about how important it is to keep good relationships with family. Look at Sara and Luca’s family, even from a distance they are in contact with love and support.
Hi Luca and Sara! I'm new to your channel, love your content! Stay safe and take care! 🙏❤ we will get through this crazy time. Hope your family is ok in Italy 🙏🇮🇹
When chaos reigns, it’s every person for themselves. You are learning coping skills that will serve you well for the rest of your lives. Life can’t always be sexy thumbnails and fun & games. Stay safe.
Recent subscriber originally from the US but long-time ex-pat in Japan. I feel for you guys. I’ve been living vicariously through your vlogs and really admire your attitude when traveling, especially in these troubled times. Your family back in bella Italia is fabulous-love hearing their updates and news. It’s unfortunate that people don’t seem to realize that a “me first” attitude is what got us into this pandemic in the first place. How we treat citizens and tourists is equally important since we all share the same world. By helping others, you help yourself. I was happy that at least the Argentine officer apologized for how you were spoken to initially. I think you guys through your struggles are helping other people-as the number of “wanderers” is increasing so you are spreading awareness. Traveling is one of the things that I love best in the world. I feel fortunate to have visited many countries as a solo female traveler and to have met many people all around the world, and the thing that I cherish the most is discovering the basic kindness of people which you have shown on your channel over and over. This pandemic is testing that in new ways. Try to stay strong and positive! You are doing everything you can and doing everything right. Love from Japan.
Love and prayers Luca and Sara. I pray for a safe, warm, welcoming place to hold you while we all wait for the scourge to over pass us. Psalm 91. He who dwells in the shelter of the most high, shall abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, my refuge, my fortress, my God in whom I trust. Be well. Be safe dear ones. You guys are resilient and positive people. Despite your unusual circumstances, you will get through this just like so many of us that are good, sensible people. Be safe and keep your awesome attitudes!
@@leaw Sunday? I don't know if my heart can take waiting that long. It's breaking for you. I'm so happy that you speak and understand Spanish, otherwise it would be even more difficult. I'd be in deep doo doo. 😳 Virtual hugs to you both that you find a safe place to stay. ❤
@@leaw Don't make us wait a week. Things are happening and closing quickly. Other channel comments are blowing up with your names and curious of your safety. Maybe do a quick unedited "Hey we're ok" vid and then post the one that shows all the difficulty. Just asking. Thanks for listening..... ~Lynette
I know this is So very difficult for you...and all of us, really..... but at the same time, you are providing some fantastic content as we sit isolated in our own homes. It is a very compelling real life drama unfolding in the middle of this world crisis. As an observer, I/we care about you guys, and are on the edge of our seats waiting for what happens in every next moment. I sure hope you find a wonderful place in nature, to stay, and not the dusty road in front of a police station.
im happy that at this time you have eachother. take it day by day. you are both expressing yourselves so well ♡ always looking forward to the next video
It's hard to know what to say. We all wish you the best and have you in our prayers. Unfortunately, dealing with any bureaucracy is always frustrating especially in critical times. The police just want to do their job which is to force you to leave their area. It's not their job to actually be helpful apparently. I still think your best bet would be to get to one of your supporter's (subscribers) homes that are offering help. God Bless :-)
I agree with you, you can see my post I just made, it is above your comment. They have been offered a place to stay by a subscriber....rest of story is above.
Oh my! So sorry to hear about this! Your stress level must be really high! Wish you were here in Ecuador! You could stay with us! Be safe beautiful people!
So, if I lived in Argentina and had a home. It would be the simplest, loving, easiest thing to do to just invite you both into our home and weather this storm together until it is over. Your van would be fun to work to fix little problems here and there it has. Hospitality is a gift from G-d! Bendiciones! Que D-os los bendiga y provea un Lugar para ustedes.
I’m so sorry you are having to go through this beautiful people. You are obviously healthy and taking good care of yourself and people should be treating you with respect. The world is a big mess with this virus right now with no end immediately in sight. Sending you best wishes and prayers!
There is a saying that you can't beat city hall (govt). You are an exception to the rule, and they do not know how to handle it. Do not take it personally.
Yes, Bill! WE totally understand that! The situation is new to everyone so sometimes there is a lot of unpreparedness. We just want to share our experiences as we have being doing for the last 3 yeas!
I am sorry yall are having to go through this. Everything is crazy in the world now. Sent yall a small donation and I hope it helps. Keep you heads up like you always do!
Challenging time for you guys but you are doing the best you can given the situation. Your gut feelings are right on but the policy and procedures are in disarray, everywhere. Leadership is making this stuff up as they go...no rhyme, no reason. Hang in there! Stay strong!!
All over RUclips fellow travelers are facing similar issues. You seem clear and kind, hoping you find other kind people where you can park and enjoy. Fair Winds y'all. Also... the quality of your videos has improved so beautifully with the new equipment. Very enjoyable, loved seeing your families in Italy
Beautiful couple . My heart goes out to you . If no one helps head for the hills . The safest place to ride this out . I am praying for you 🙏🙌 Much love 💕
They really should help find an appropriate disposition for you. Tourists are also guests and should be treated respectfully. Especially when they are compliant with the laws.
I agree. I will say in 2001; after WTC happened, I was living in Sevilla, Spain and all flights going to America from Spain was cancelled by one airline for several months. I was studying there and I remember being on a bus for a school field trip to Valencia a week after it happened, the bus was stopped by the police and told us to go back to Sevilla. Most people were treated differently - that were not from Sevilla/Seville. I adapted as I had a few months left on my student visa and since I pick up Spanish easily and the sevillia accent came natural, I was treated normal. But my friends were not because they had a strong American accent. With that said, the police was not helpful to us students when we needed to know something.
I was remembering at a restaurant in Sevilla/Seville, some American students there were being very rude. I was at a different table with a friend and those students were saying very rude things to the waiter; throwing food. I was embarrassed! When the waiter gave back their change, the put the change on a small plate and had oil covered on the change. The students left didn't leave any tip behind. I was embarrassed. .I didn't know them but the hard work the waiters did, I left them a tip (I think at the time when I was there in 2001, tips in Spain were not typical.) I never forgot that. Stay safe everyone. *Besos* (I don't know how to say that in Italian) and *hugs* .
@@rachelk5720, *"put the change on a small plate and had oil covered on the change"* OMG, that's so sad to hear about something like that. Maybe they'll get their karma this time around. Good for you that you left the waiters a tip :-)
How stressful! I am so sorry! My husband and I hoped to travel full-time this year and have been discussing how different the world will be post pandemic and this confirms some of my fears. I worry that even after the storms passes people will be skeptical of foreigners - and as an international couple that is terrifying. Praying for you and sending lots of love ❤️ 🙏🏼
Sara and Luca I feel for you two and I will keep you in our prayers daily🙏🏼please be safe things will workout for you! Keep positive like you’ve always done and this too shall pass❤️❤️❤️❤️God be with you🙏🏼
You both are such lovely people and my heart weeps for what you are going through at this time. I can't imagine how hard it is to be struggling to get your point across and find an answer, somewhere safe to hunker down and wait this out. As you guys have mentioned and others on here stated, I also wonder if the Italian Embassy can provide some help for you both at this time. Know that you are in my prayers. Love in infinite abundance. Thank you for sharing your lives so generously with us. xo
You both are Beautiful people. Thank you for sharing your life with all of us. My heart goes out to you both. Stay safe. This too shall pass. Much love from the great lakes region in the USA
Hola Danita! Yes, you are right! The situation is new to everyone so sometimes there is a lot of unpreparedness. Argentina is doing a good job on containing the infected areas. We are lucky to be here. We just want to share our experience as we are living it!
Mucha suerte.
I am so sorry you are in this very stressful situation. I will add you to my prayers. These are extraordinary times. The Italian embassy or consulate is probably most able to help. Maybe they will let you park there. Remember to breathe. Love each other and hold each other. This too shall pass. Thank you for sharing your story. ❤❤❤❤❤
Good morning you beautiful people too! I'm so sorry that your going through this. It's crazy every where here in the United States too. It's all new everyday here too in regards to laws. I wish you could go to a hospital and get masks to wear and a box or pair of gloves each. Just stay a distance of 6 feet from anyone if you go into a store. Washing hands and not touching your face are #1 thing to be mindful of. I'm praying big prayers for you two during this time of the unknown future for us all. Just try to find a place with electricity and internet so you can keep updated always. They are saying for the US our numbers of people being infected is really rising quickly. Keep us posted as much as you can and know that we all love y'all. 😊💖🌹💐
So sorry to see you going through these bad moments, nobody really knows what to do, it’s a nightmare, it’s heartbreaking and not fair but you are resilient and strong, hang in there and keep staying safe and healthy...
This is a terrible time and place to be in but when its over it will be an epic story to tell and show your beautiful children in the future. You are handling this very well. Best wishes from the USA.
Faith in God can move mountains ~ I will pray for you, I can relate to the feeling of being between a rock and a hard place..believe that you are loved and God CAN give you both wisdom and direction in these circumstances. God bless you and yours. 🥰💝✨🕊
get in contact with your Italy embassy Trent and Allie left today for United States. The only thing is Italy is so bad. Almost everyone in the states are pretty much being quarantined for the next 2 weeks. I wish you guys all the best.
We did it! If you saw their video, it was on the 18th of march, when the earthquake hit Utah. Things changed so fast in the hours, and days after that. All flights to Italy were canceled. Thank you
I think you are doing everything you can do in the situation you are experiencing. Parking by the police station is a brilliant idea and may be the best solution until the country and provinces become aware of your specific predicament and get the local tourists back home. They are in a situation where they are learning, too. It just means that you will have to get used to explaining your situation to the authorities. Don't leave the province you are currently in. The authorities there will come to know you and your predicament. One thing to realize is that things like showers are a luxury in your situation. Locate a water source and take sponge baths. Limit your activity so you are not sweating a lot. It may be necessary to get accustomed to background noise when you are sleeping. Some earplugs may be required at first. Do not worry about us abandoning you. Your predicament is more interesting that the usual tourist attractions. We won't abandon you. We realize your income from RUclips is subject to advertising revenues which are probably drying up as advertisers realize the futility of advertising. If you can hunker down for a month, the situation is bound to improve. We will try to help you from becoming depressed. You will profit greatly in the long run for having gone through this experience.
Gianna Giavelli best advice so far!!! That or get a special travel visa to get across the border with their certificates and stay with the people offering there in Argentina.
That's a great idea. If you go to a catholic church in Italy...maybe the priest there has some way to get you in touch with a catholic church where you are. Also, you might be able to pay rent to a farmer or something to park on the farm. Or in the parking lot of a church or small private business. Hah. If I were you I'd be emailing the vatican at this point.
It's all the public gathering places getting closed; churches, malls, sports centers, gyms, schools, restaurants, beaches, only groceries and some hardware stores are to remain open
Hello my heart is with you both. What a scary situation for you. I just want to hug you both. You guys have handled yourselves so well and professionally. I would have cried. Please stay safe. Sending you much love from Australia. ❤️💐
All it takes is one kind & caring beautiful person to help. I know you’ll find that person or they will find you because same finds same❤️❤️ Take good care you two.
Did you reach out to the contact from Trent and Allie, Patricia O’Connor? She had responded to them that her home in Buenos Aries is empty because she is in France and had offered her home to the, before they went back to the USA. Check out video they posted on RUclips on Monday, March 24. Or call them. They may know how to reach her. Good luck to you.
Sara, Luca you're both beautiful people and once they see how what wonderful you both are you will get help. Sara every time you cry it makes us sad, sending you hugs and kisses. Luca give Sara lots of hugs for all of us please, you both are strong and together have been thru good and hard times, and will be stronger each day. Muchos besitos y fuerte habrasos para los do, thanks for update on your situation, stay safe Love for LeaW.
The best way to hide is in plane site, parking up in front of the police station is the best place for now. At least if people phone up the police to inform them of you, the police don't have to move around much and they may just say to them that they know you guys and there is no problem. Or hopefully find a safe place for you guys, take care ciao
Hi Lisa good morning, yeah we know the flew back home to the Usa and we are super happy they made it! Unfortunately we can't do the same because the government canceled all the flights to Italy so we are stuck here, but we stay positive. Hugs
That’s so hard. I hope you find someplace stable, safe, and comfortable to stay. I appreciate the way you’re advocating for your and everyone else’s safety. Sending you both love
I hope you have found a place to stay with all you need. It's a horrible time , especially when your singled out & people are so Afraid. For all you have been through ,now this! There are Angel's protecting & around you both. This too shall pass. What a Great movie & Book your journey will be. Safety & Wellness to you. Much love and prayers for you Big Hugs 🤗❣️❤️🙏🙏
Chicos Argentina es el país más extenso y que mejor está controlando esta situación de escala mundial en América latina Todo genera stress y fricción No es el fin del mundo pero casi, hay que tener la paciencia y la calma que la situación amerita
Hola Javier! Yes, you are right! The situation is new to everyone so sometimes there is a lot of unpreparedness. Argentina is doing a good job on containing the infected areas. We are lucky to be here. We just want to share our experience as we are living it!
They have been offered a place to stay by a subscriber, but, Sara and Luc said that they cannot stay on private property as the officials want to know where they are. That makes no sense to me. I suggested to them to have the person with the property to call the police and verify they will stay with them and would stay quarantined, and tell police the location and just have the police make out a letter to confirm Sara and Luc are in transit to that place, so when they get stopped again as they drive, they can show the letter as well as the medical test results. Some You Tubers keep their subscribers posted using Instagram between YT videos, but, Sara and Luc seem to prefer to have us wait til their next video to find out. They do not want to tell us currently where they are and what is going on, just that they are safe for now. Perhaps it is partly for safety reason (scared locals who may be watching) and partly for suspense for us. My guess is that they will get help from the Italian embassy in Buenos Aires and perhaps be provided a way to safely travel there and may already be on their way or already there....there is a time lag of what happens to them and when it gets edited and downloaded and when we finally see it. I guess we just have to wait and worry about them until Sunday, as they like to keep us in suspense, like directors of an action movie! ^_^
Linda Scott they have updated on Instagram. It was on a story, so it expires. They are in a campground, they are the only ones there and the police locked the gate. They were asked to park out of view from the road. If they need out, the police will come and open the gate.
Dearest Sara and Luca..I am hoping and praying that by this time you have been able to find a way to resolve this troubling situation that the pandemic has brought upon two fine people such as yourselves. It wrenches my heart to see you in such frustrating circumstances. I don't understand why the police do not see you as 'overlanders' because it looks to me like there are many like you who have been traveling through the area. You are only trying to stay safe, and keep everyone else around you safe as well. Please stay positive, and know there are many of us who enjoy your travels, are keeping you in their thoughts and prayers. I know you will come out of this just fine and be able to continue on your wonderful journey.
Oh boy u have it hard! I’m sorry to hear it’s not easy. Know you are loved. I too live in truck camper in US , getting kicked out of public lands/national forest in Utah. But we will find a way. Blessings to you beautiful people. 😘🙏
Trent and Allie left the van in a secure site and are heading back home. Sounds like you two should do the same. I wish you all the best. Stay together, stay strong.
Sara and Luca, this breaks my heart! I'm in tears, all I can do is pray and ask God to send help and protection over you both! I'm so sorry you guys are going through this, much love and 🙏
SUGGESTION" Find a "Storage" location, explain your situation and ask to "Store your camper" while living in it at that location. Also "Rent"" a location in someone's back yard (where you can live).
Get you a water filter if possible. Load up on food and water especially dry beans and dry goods. You are in a survival situation. Get off the coast and find a secluded place in the country to ride this out. Your main priority right now is not your rights to internet or showers or anything like that. You are in a war zone and it's about survival. Get secluded and lay low.
We just want to be able to contact our families back in Italy! Our priority is to know they are safe! Thats why internet is important for us! Would you be bale to live for month knowing that almost 150 people every million in the country your family is, are dying right now, and growing and not being able to check if they are ok..... We are not in a war zone! Probably in Italy yes, but here in Argentina things are controlled! They are doing a good job!
@@leaw I understand about keeping in touch with your family. The war zone I'm referring to is the virus itself. I dont mean you guys any disrespect, I love watching your channel. I hope you can get someone to help you. But if all fails you may have to bug out for a while.
@@leaw I have to agree with Joe get as much water and food you can and go up into the hills where there is fresh water and far far away from people and jonny law go north warmer climate lots of woods to hide in.
I am a parent of people your age! I love my children too. Your parents would rather you call them and tell them you are going to buy food and water and go hide away and that they might not hear from you, but you love them. They will tell you yes! You are not sick, go hide until things are better. I am mother and grandmother watching you. A mother wants safety for their child no matter what age!
Hopefully after the initial confusion things will smoothen out and you'll find a place you can stay and feel better about! It must be a terrible feeling to be chased around the whole time.
Beautiful Sara and Luca, I'm so sad this is happening to you. The people are afraid of the virus, and not you. Stay strong, know that you are loved and wanted. This too shall pass. When you get down, just read all the wonderful comments from subscribers that show an abundance of outpouring of love. Keep us posted.
Your life will go into a movie , so this will be the !most dramatic sad part of the movie. It will be a really fantastic story. I really hope you find a peaceful place to stay. Good Luck!
First, I am so sorry you two are having this experience. I have been following you for awhile and I am so impressed with your positive attitude and approach. Luca, you are so clear and eloquent when you point out that the authorities are not considering the point of view of people traveling in homes that are not attached to land. You two do need to make sure you are safe. You were welcomed into Argentina and have likely inspired many people to travel there. Now that this pandemic has hit it isn’t right that you be treated as criminals and that they have no plan to care for guests they welcomed in.
I dreamt about you guys last night, so I needed to check on you :) the dream was good. This is your time to spread that Amore and maybe get that much closer to each other. Its a beautiful relationship. Be strong and we are with you....

That is why only Bernie Sanders is right choice for next president.
Zeleniprojekt you sir are an idiot!
No one needs tested unless you have symptoms!!!! Thank God for the best President ever!
Hey Tail, welcome to LeAw's family =) We totally agree with everything you wrote. Thank you for understanding
LeAw Leave Everything and Wander Would love that too!❤️
Love and prayers Luca and Sara. Alaska Mama here praying the Father care for you.
Thank you very much Alaska Mama
You guys are resilient and positive people. Despite your unusual circumstances, you will get through this just like so many of us that are good, sensible people. Be safe and keep your awesome attitudes!
Thank you
Time to contact the Italian embassy I would think. Perhaps you could even stay in the embassy.
Yea, Italian embassy
Yeah! Stay tuned for the next video! See you Sunday!
Thank you very much Tony!
Out of all the van life videos I am watching, you two have the most difficult situation. I feel for you. Hoping for the best!! Beautiful people😍😍
Thank you very much Jessica!
im happy that at this time you have eachother. take it day by day. you are both expressing yourselves so well ♡ always looking forward to the next video
Thank you
It's hard to know what to say.
Thank you very much Amelia & JP

Challenging time for you guys but you are doing the best you can given the situation. Your gut feelings are right on but the policy and procedures are in disarray, everywhere. Leadership is making this stuff up as they go...no rhyme, no reason. Hang in there! Stay strong!!
We will!
It’s happening and is weird, with this pandemic we don’t trust even our own family and friends. I hope this will be over soon.
Sara and Luca I feel for you two and I will keep you in our prayers daily🙏🏼please be safe things will workout for you! Keep positive like you’ve always done and this too shall pass❤️❤️❤️❤️God be with you🙏🏼
Thank you very much Brenda
You both are such lovely people and my heart weeps for what you are going through at this time. I can't imagine how hard it is to be struggling to get your point across and find an answer, somewhere safe to hunker down and wait this out. As you guys have mentioned and others on here stated, I also wonder if the Italian Embassy can provide some help for you both at this time. Know that you are in my prayers. Love in infinite abundance. Thank you for sharing your lives so generously with us. xo

get in contact with your Italy embassy Trent and Allie left today for United States.
Thank you
What a pity situation....i hope you can settle this situation, we cross our fingers for you, best from germany
I can't help it I just love you guys you guys are so awesome! God bless you and please stay safe
👍😋
Thank you very much
dont forget to try CHURCHES!!!!
Yep, great idea!
It's all the public gathering places getting closed; churches, malls, sports centers, gyms, schools, restaurants, beaches, only groceries and some hardware stores are to remain open

The best way to hide is in plane site, parking up in front of the police station is the best place for now. Or hopefully find a safe place for you guys, take care ciao

Someone please come forward and help these people!!!!!

Get you a water filter if possible. Load up on food and water especially dry beans and dry goods. You are in a survival situation. You are in a war zone and it's about survival. Get secluded and lay low.
