No thanks. Although I have a forester and love the Subaru brand…….I’m not touching an EV. Let’s see what is going on with these in a few years from now 👎👎👎👎

If only it was an actual subaru and not just a front badge with other stuff under the skin. A subaru is not just the badge, its also how you expect it to behave.
And i don't mean that it doesn't have a flat 4 engine, i mean that it wasn't designed with subaru's style and DNA.

Many people in the world would like to have a Subaru. But not everyone can buy a Subaru.
In the world we would like to have a Subaru that best suits our economic reality.
Maybe Subru can make a difference and obtain the most economical and best-selling line in the world.
Thank you for listening to me. 😞
    I love Subaru, but I can't have a Subaru.

To all dislikers, it is a great car and good looking interior, but the best Solterra has to offer except Benz and BM, the ride class and suspension , I have drove many Ev and they suck for Drive comfort, I test drive Solterra and minute i start driving I almost yelled to sales man, how smooth the drive comfort is. Most reviewer could not understand Fabric based dash top, let me tell you, any usual car in summer gets super hot due to your dash (plastic, rubber or leather)is over 150 degree when parked for just 1 hour, this fabric based observe the heat and your cabin is super cool in few minutes of AC running. Love it. 2nd thing, people complaining about low range (220), well I agree but it doesn't bother me, I have asked many of my Tesla friends whats their Tesla range and their answer was 330 or so, and then I asked him how much do you drive a day and most of them answered, average 60-70 miles a day so why in the world you need 330. 220 is more then enough even for a city like LA and I live in Nashville where my daily commute is 40-50 a day and I can very easily drive to near cities like Atlanta, Knoxville, Gatlinburg, Louisville and even to Florida. complained about slow charging? not any more, I. found another video, which shows car was charged 80% to the capacity in 40 minute. last thing, it is beautiful inside and the most important thing, for which no one can beat Subaru is, the safety of your loved ones. and thats the one reason I am buying for my wife because I care and it always bother me, she being not a very old driver on the road. Go out and test drive like I did, it will change your perception and 329 a month with 329 down. you can not go wrong. I am buying one tomorrow.

The front end of this car looks like the new electric Mustang. It’s weird.

It’s so weird that the solterra, that is basically a rebadged bz4x looks more like a Subaru than the new forester😅.
I test drove the solterra and I was pleasantly surprised. Even with the old steering wheel I was able to see the dash (one of my concerns), this new steering wheel should be awesome. I like how it looks and the tech that it has.
The only big issue I see is the range. Yeah, I know people will say that you don’t commute more than 220mi/day and that’s true, but having a bit more range would just make longer drives easier. I like that you improved the charging time.
Route planning would be nice too and of course, a reduced price. Maybe for the US, the price is ok, but for Europe, it’s pretty expensive. I would be replacing two other Subarus, a 2004 forester SG and a 2009 Subaru Justy (basically a rebadged Daihatsu, which is a company of Toyota), but both, including repairs, have cost me under 10k…
Does it have eyesight? I thought the adas system was Toyotas system.
I would like to own a solterra!
