I am living in UK now. I can understand how Kerala's health sector is better than UK. In kerala even in villages you get good treatment. But in UK or Canada we need to wait for weeks to get a govt.hospital appointment
💯, As a Keralite Iam always proud to say that its my State. In almost every aspect Kerala is better than all other states in India . Ofcourse there are some negatives also . But overall, in technology, education, health, equality, mindset of people, etc are far better than other states . Yes its my State, God's own country KERALA.

I’m from a small village in northern kerala. The nearest town is 25km away. Although I never had to go to that town in most of the occasions except for visiting a shopping mall and beach. We have a multi speciality government hospital just 2 km away and have 3 high standard government high schools, 5 private schools and a NAAC A graded college and an engineering college within 15kms of radius. We never have had scarcity of water or food. We are technologically as advanced as urban kerala. I remember having internet connectivity at my home 15 years ago (middle class family) and 2-3 cyber cafes in my area even before that. Yet, My district is comparatively considered as a backward district in Kerala. When it comes to social structure, yes there are people who are proud of their cast and religion but inter cast/religion marriages and relationships are becoming more and more common and many Hindus are even reluctant to use their cast name as surname now a days. Pick a random person in any part of kerala, who will definitely have Hindu, Christian and Muslim friends without feeling any difference. Is Kerala a perfect state to live?? No, but it’s unarguably the best place to live in India.

Iam from Kerala..One thing I have always noticed is about cleanliness ....Our town, cities and even villages are tidy..But in the north it's so dirty..As an Indian it's always ashame... Apart from that we have got quality education, health service, technology and so... That's why our HDI is high... "GOD'S OWN COUNTRY"

We have a long way to go. Our people can’t tolerate wealthy people. It forces people to migrate to other countries or states.
At the same time, People from other states say we dont have industries and we depend on gulf remittances. The same people are trying to make it abroad while making fun of us. The real measure of development is providing good education, health care, decent infrastructure, treating people from all walks of life with respect etc. This is missing in many states like andhra, tamil nadu, uttarakhand and many other states.
Different people have different perspectives regarding development. For most north Indians, its walking around half clothed and having only fair skinned people representing india even if the low class is suffering while for most south indians, development is having access to good health care for all and basic education and no discrimination
