I just got my ecoboost pony and as soon as my engine breaks in ima get this ford intake+tune combo. 335hp-390trq on a 4cyl rwd coupe sounds too good to be true.
What if i do not want to use the GT350 Airbox? I really just want the tune by itself because. I prefer to keep my closed element Injen Evolution intake. Why couldn't FRPP just sell the tune as a stand alone part number?
Well worth it, car is now very responsive, pulls really well through the higher rpms, great mod for the value. This was my first mod, now ordered the oil separator and the BBK throttle Body.
Sandra Orr it’s a paper filter, so you just replace it as needed. I went ahead and purchased the Airaid dry filter from CJ Pony Parts for around $70, you can clean and reuse that one
Hi bill just asking if this tune remove the top speed limed from the EcoBoost Because my car just hit the 120 and stop , I wanna remove the top speed limit!
Yes it does remove the top speed limit. With this tune my car goes all the way to 149 mph or so before it's limited. Probably because of how the tune adds top end power
The car doesn't come with tires rated for max speed so for warranty reasons the tune won't completely remove the top speed, you'll probably need to go to roush or Cobb to completely remove it
Ford says this comes with a calibration voucher. Does this mean it needs a dyno to get the most out of it? Also, how much more noticeable is the power?
Why do you need to calibrate it. I was hoping to get one, but was told that dealerships in Portugal won't be able to calibrate. They told me still, that I can buy it without the need to have it calibrated, is that the case?
Great idea and install... but those parts are lookn waaaay to flimsy etc.... There are ALOT of quality air intakes for all models of the s550. Ford better STEP IT UP!
It is the same intake that comes on the GT350 from the factory. I'm not sure how sturdy an intake really needs to be, there isn't much movement going on with it.
Could you upload a video of the sound of this CAI? That would be awesome!

Dyno?
can you show the calibration along with a test drive??

I feel like power is lost when I am modifying the part by cutting it and it isn’t a perfect fit
Looking to purchase this but can you guys shoot a dyno video? I cannot seem to find any 3rd parties reviewing this tune.
Unfortunately we do not have a dyno so I do not see this happening anytime soon.
Do i need to have the factory filter..mine was replaced by previous owner..also does the cai have to be installed by the dealership as well
Just bought it for my 2016 eco convertible, can’t wait to have it installed!
Bryan Plested how do you like it?

Bryan Plested I've been considering it sounds awesome!
Can anyone tell me if this is the filter that you wash and dry or the type that needs oiled as well?

Could you upload a tutorial for the tune?
How would i get a replacement filter if i wanted one. What's the part number and who can i order one from?
It will use the stock replacement filter for a 15-17 GT350, we offer several options on our website.
Lol im crackin up at the little clumsy mishaps
Just bent the filter all up.
Is this void the warranty?
Aj Ah not if you have it installed at a ford dealership.
why you chose to use the old hose for the filter.??
Is there a replacement filter for sale?
so this system adds peak of 100 hp
Cool! Getting this done tomorrow! :D
JesseAndMike how do you like it? Still contemplating buying seeing as how no 3rd parties have done reviews or put it on the dyno.

Having the car calibrated just adds power. It's not necessary to daily drive the car.
Can you use an aftermarket intake tube with this?
Did you ever figure this out?
Please show more angles when you make tutorials
Im from Mexico can i buy this and make the calibration?
Hello! Does this intake void warranty? I would imagine it would not. Ford Performance.🚙
Call your local dealership and ask to be sure.
Ok thanks
that air filter got dogged out a bit lol

This doesn't void the warranty though, if installed by a dealership.
