Well this is disappointing, was really excited to play this but on my system I’d probably be lucky to get a 1/3 of your frames lol. I guess we can add this game to the growing list of poorly optimised games. Appreciate the heads up!
@@GeekyPastimesI think at the very least “early access” games should be free to play (at least while they’re in early access). I don’t like how they can charge £35 for something that barely runs, and excuse it by *eventually* having a fix for it. Not to mention, you can buy the first one with every DLC for the same price as this right now.

Many people bought the old game because of that announcement and now they lied and changed mind typical Wildcard to promise something free but then say Nope Give us more money cause we are going broke and need more money.
@@gwhitty12 well wild card does have its problems but the main issue is snail games. There's a bunch of stuff that snail games did to wildcard that drug their name through the mud bc they didn't want to follow their rules like being a pay to win game. Sucks because studio wildcard is a good developer but they had their reputation tarnished bc of a publisher who merged with them just to try and change everything about them.
FYI no you can't get your own private server unless you rent it from Nitrado which is charging 30/month for basic server you can't run your own server.

The main problems really sound like PC problems. Can’t wait to sit back on my couch and enjoy this game. Grew up loving N64, anything nicer then that graphic wise, with fun gameplay is good enough for me.
So it seems I would stick with Ark 1,since Iirc they did have ark 2 with the bundle for ASA, but since they removed it, I can just get mods for ASE and it will run better than ASA with higher frames. I did have a feeling for a while this was just a cash grab. Was on the fence but the more I see the more I think base game with mods is better since the bugs are still there, it was one of the things that they were supposed to fix, that and creature patching... Damm Snailgames 😂
Sorry, I refunded this. The whole attitude of the company has kinda put me off Ark 2. We know that game is third person only and more story based and gas vin diesel in it
You have to pay extra for a game you already have and the biggest campaign for it is better graphics but they honestly dont even look THAT much better. Where do they get off charging people again??

Absolute not worth it as long as what ever dev group that is working on it now is replaced.the game as an idea is great but the execution is the worst of seen in 30 years of gaming there's back street sweatshop full of 10yo that can produce better than the devs that work on it now. I would give you a run down on all that is wrong but even breaking it into point form would take 30 minutes to read. DONT BUY

Honestly the studio that makes ARK is terrible and doesn’t deserve anyone’s money.

so it is a 90% graphic change from ark 1 then? I had trouble running ark 1 at 20 frames I dont even want to try and run ascended
