35s on a stock tahoe!

- Guess what I done it! 35s with stock suspension! Barely scrubs at full turn. Keys are turned up most of the way. I have a set of 3 inch keys and 2 inch rear coil spacers. Ok. I have a 2003 Tahoe. Just sourced a set of 35x12.50r17 Toyo’s and just ordered a set of 17x8.5 method’s with 0 offset. I have a 2 inch front lift, and 1 inch rear lift. I know I’ll need to trim the front a bit. But from your experience, how did your tires fit?
I’ve had 3 Tahoe’s on 35s and 3inch keys no trim not too sure about with a 2 inch
@@Bamashiner good info man! I’m really trying to keep my 2 inch lift, so I don’t over extend my UCA’s. If it turns out they rub too bad after trimming, I’ll definitely go to a 3 inch key.

Looks good. I have an 03 Avalanche with keys and spacers, about to put 35s on it.
I got the 35s on mine, little trimming, fits good.
Sorry I’ve been inactive for a while but I’m back now! Yea I have a new video up with 3” keys front, 3” spacers in rear, and 35s and they fit nicely!

ConQuest Josh I’ve been thinking the same thing since my sophomore year of high school, I wanted a tahoe as my first truck so I could do it. I would’ve been done before the guy that did it and took it to sema but I got a Silverado for my first truck and wasn’t able to build one until everyone was doing it. Just trying to prove if you have a dream to chase it and it’ll happen.

ConQuest Josh thanks it looks even better now. I got the cat eye bumper mounted, 6” in the front and 3” in the rear.
Question- I have 35s with stock gmc offset rims waiting for a 6 inch lift to come in so I don’t want to crank the keys do you think i could fit them with a little trimming just so I can take it to mechanic to get lift installed. I don’t want to put them on after installing because then I will have to pay for a second alignment right?
Meteor 2018 just wait and take them when you get the lift installed is what I would recommend.
How does it ride with the keys up???
Real stiff, would definitely recommend a complete lift kit if you want to maintain ride quality.

So it's not "stock" because you have keys and coil spacers

251Bailey I had mines on 24 in rims not to long ago ....do you think I’ll have to raise it up some more if I want to throw some 305 70 16 ...thanks for your response bud ..
I cant help but to pause the video @ 0:46 & just laugh. Im sorry but the front cap is awful. the rims are awful. it looks like a t3rd on wheels if im being honest.
