- Two men have been arrested at the pro-Palestine march in London - one for holding a placard with a swastika on it and another for what police said was an alleged racist remark towards counter-protesters.
That static counter-demo was organised by pro-Israel group Enough is Enough.
There has also been more unrest on university campuses in the USA where protestors have been demonstrating against the Biden administration's support for Israel.
Who has killed reporters? Who has destroyed universities? Who stands accused of Genocide? Who seek to gag there openents? Who has directed funds to Hamas? Who has been in contravention of international law for decades?

Ive just returned home from the London march and it was completely peaceful and everone was very respectful towards each other, I went along with a jewish friend amongst others, who were horrified by the nasty racist hate speach being shouted out by the Israeli counter demonstration, Im from a muslim family and going pass the Israeli crowd reminded me of the National Front I grew up with in the 70s/80s. They are hard right-wing hooligans that support Netanyahu goverment and the genocide in Gaza. Note that these clips on mainstream media make it look like the Israeli counter demonstrations are really large when infact there are only two rows of people along the fence... thankfully they are few in numbers.
Just had the same experience they did not mention Steve Kapos, a truly wonderful man, a holocaust survivor addressing the rally either. A complete travesty of a great inspiring demonstration. Yes the Zionist Demo was tiny never noticed it. This report was a subtle demonisation of people marching in solidarity with a people suffering from the most evil atrocities imaginable. Instead C4 turn into people stretching the boundaries of free speech and religious tolerance?

It is not needed to actively condem Hamas to have the right to protest what Israel is doing, meaning to be pro Palestine is not equel to being pro Hamas just as being jewish or even Israelie does not mean that you have to answer for the actions of Israel.

The protests are not against Jews. The protests are against genocide committed by Israel. So the protests are not antisemitic.
What’s confusing about this whole situation is that it’s possible to both condemn the Hamas attacks _and_ think Israel has been more than heavy-handed in its response to October 7th. It’s possible to support Palestinian freedom from Israeli state oppression without being antisemitic just as it’s possible to support Israel against Islamist aggression without being anti-Muslim. These 2 things are not necessarily mutually exclusive. Too many folk are either one thing or t’other in this conflict when it’s possible to be both/and.
