When doing this, I often end up imagining Spider-Man pointing at Spider-Man, then another Spider-Man appears to point at the second Spider-Man, like that one meme image... I'm always surprised with how many Spider-Mans keep popping up for each layer until my brain gets tired, I laugh and I finally give up trying to be Spider-Man. For a while, anyway. So basically being mindful of everything that happens, including things that are considered 'me' such as 'doing the meditation' or 'analyzing phenomena'. Is that right?
Hello, Yes, that's basically right, though for the vipassana insight to deepen, we need to be sure that we are meditating on nama rupa (ultimate reality) and not on concepts.
