Was there confusion in this video's production? I was misled by Greg and the in-video event description. I thought it would be only four heats and the leaderboard would just be an arrangement of times fastest to slowest. Greg seemed to be under this impression halfway through as well. This made sense to me since a real triathlon is that way and it made sense not to run every marble in one heat. I only saw the video description after being shocked that Frost and Cosmo weren't in the top 5 overall. I'm used to the top 2 advance formula, but it was not communicated that way in the video and I think it doesn't apply well in a triathlon event.
What a massive impact for Velocity there in the sand section, I'm impressed they were able to claw back a position after that. I hope they will be able to see a medic before the next event!
That slide-in overtake by Ecto really shows why I’m so enthused by the potential hidden in this team. A little more polish and they’ll be real competitors!
Bad luck Mimo, I'm sure Team Momo will be able to claw back some positions in the next few events though. Have to say though, very impressed by Blue Eye today. That line through the sand in the heats was beautiful, a great showing for the cats eyes after the issues in the last few events
I am once again complaining about the "top two move on" format for these timed events. This time, it's even worse as the commentator said that moving on was based on time, yet in actuality, it was the same format as in the other events.
People who were in spot 1 seemed to have a major advantage in this event. Out of the last 5 heats 5 of them were 1st in the first 3rd and 4 won their respective events.
what is the point of it being a timed event if its just top 2 from each heat who progress? if it were a timed event wouldn't the Snowballs have been out in the first round? Note: i'm not complaining, i just was confused because they made a point to talk about it being a timed event and that didn't seem to matter. Regardless congrats to the Snowballs, Bumblebees, and O'Rangers! quite the final!
I feel like the heats system is flawed. Frost and Cosmo had better times than 5 of those who made it through. I think the system should be, at the end of the heats, the top 8 times go through, instead of the top 2 from every heat. I love the Marble League and I hope this change is made or considered. Like if you agree with me.
@@RazvanMihaeanu Refraction of light is distorted due to the water, so it looks like Frozen hit the line first. However, if you look again at the "photo finish" result, the O'Ranger's marble is slightly more over the line.
I'm sorry, but I think you're trying to fix a problem that doesn't exist with these camera angles. Yes, you're giving us a greater variety of angles - but at the cost of being able to view the race properly. The front on angle doesn't really give you a good idea of where the marble are in relation to each other. You've built the channel on having good, exciting racing. I understand you might have a desire to change things up a bit, but it shouldn't be at the cost of your core mission.
Are we gonna ignore that whoever was in the 1st starting spot had a huge advantage? That marble got out to the early lead every single time. JMR needs to be investigated.
I know this is nitpicking, but p1 had such a huge advantage in this race. Every single start, p1 had 1st through the first 3 turns and every p1 made it (with the exception of yellup who crashed a wall hard) into the top 2 every round. Idk it just seems like an oversight specifically with this track design. It could just be that they were better, but including the show round, its kinda crazy the lead p1 always had
Nice job to Rojo Cinco for getting 7th place after poor incidents in previous Triathlon event and we see the battle between Blue Eye from Crazy Cat’s Eyes and Rojo Cinco from Rojo Rollers
Spoilers! - - - - - - A medal is a medal and ORANGIN is really the best choice for this race! Great job! Man, that waggle track should be in Marbula 1, the cinematics of the marbles rolling and overtaking just look mesmerizing.
Spoilers: I hope we get a medical update on Wuspy! That looked like a pretty nasty collision on the overtake in semifinal A. It looked like it reversed the direction of their spin entirely! You’d think that would have been investigated, it looked like blue eye almost slammed Wuspy into the track wall!
@@yeyawewin I don't know why Greg kept saying it was a timed event. It was clearly a "top two advance" progression. Maybe lack of communication here - advancement highlighting for each heat would have also helped.
I would like to see more timed events, or maybe some kind of qualification process (for heats and semis) as in the Olympic, where from 4 runs we got 4 Q (capital Q) winners of each run and 4 q (small Q) with the 4 of the best times through all runs from places 2-4? And from two semis - also 2x Q and 2x q? It might create a more levelled ground as sometimes there are more difficult runs and 3rd place might be a better time than winner in other heat but unfortunately is not qualified for later rounds.
it's strange because Greg said this was a timed event and the in video description said fastest marble wins so I was expecting Galactic to finish 5th and was confused when they had semifinals and finals. But the video description said the opposite, classic top 2 advance from each heat. That's the way they produced it, so I don't know why Greg and the description were misled.
The speeders got a minor setback today but we can afford 1 or 2 setbacks. We are still really consistant and doing well. Velocity gave his best today and thats all we can ask for. As i watched the thunderbolts today though, all i could say to my wife(team galactic fan) was, its got to be tough being a thunderbolts fan this season...
I was out but now I'm back! I LOVE the triathlon. So many elements from events like Marble Rally in one. I hope everyone has a good race (Also GO PINKIES) EDIT: Well at least our overall place didn't change.
Greg noted multiple times that this was a timed event. Not sure I understand how the first round's fifth fastest marble gets knocked out while the thirteenth fastest makes it to the next round and the eleventh ultimately takes the gold.
SPOILERS AHEAD: Imagine being Galacfifth quickest in the Heats and faster than most runs in the Semis and the Final too, but still being out in the Heats and only getting 10th... 😂 But you can say: Cosmo gave his best and definitely put a great effort into trying a proper comeback after getting elbowed in the sand by Orangin. He almost got it too. But it was the quickest and the closest of the four heats overall (the margin between last and first, Cosmo and Velocity, was just 0.4 seconds in the end, and everyone did a low 25 second run in that one heat. 😉), so while the result wasn't in our favor, Cosmo did put in a good effort here to save some points. 👍 That is kinda uplifting for the next round, the Relay race. 😊 #ReachForTheStars Congrats to Snowstorm for some very nice runs and a deserved Gold, to Stinger for another great podium for the Hosts and giving them the overall lead back in the home games, and Orangin for the hard-fought Bronze. 😀
I was going to write the same comment. If he went into a total stop like the Thunderbolts one we probably would had a race investigation. Cosmo was really awesome, just unlucky.

What a massive impact for Velocity there in the sand section, I'm impressed they were able to claw back a position after that. I hope they will be able to see a medic before the next event!
I'm sure they will.
Man being a galactic and plasma fan has been disappointing this year but I don’t even know how I would feel if I was a thunderbolts fan.
At about 8:40 the times are off
By far my favorite event!! GO HAZERS!!! O wait..... 😭
Loyal fan for seven years now, supported mellow yellow for all of them
Same. Well, not 7 years, but since around 2018
The bolts really suck 😢😢😢😢 I don't like being a fan of them anymore😂😂😂😂😂
That slide-in overtake by Ecto really shows why I’m so enthused by the potential hidden in this team. A little more polish and they’ll be real competitors!
As usual this event is so cool!
Bad luck Mimo, I'm sure Team Momo will be able to claw back some positions in the next few events though.
Have to say though, very impressed by Blue Eye today. That line through the sand in the heats was beautiful, a great showing for the cats eyes after the issues in the last few events
Yet another disappointing year for team momo, we will come back stronger in 2024
I am once again complaining about the "top two move on" format for these timed events. This time, it's even worse as the commentator said that moving on was based on time, yet in actuality, it was the same format as in the other events.
Another absoulute banger as usual! Thx Jelle 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
That’s what I’m talking about Snowballs. Let’s keep this rolling.
This is not Team Galactic's year, huh...
We need to start getting some points ASAP
Your ability to mimic TV sports shows, the sets, the photography, the narration. It's an amazing effort. Incredibly entertaining.

I'm fine with the heat system, but I was misled by Greg who said it was a timed event, so I was surprised when it wasn't
Velocity got robbed! They had a faster time in the opening heat AND the Semi final, but somehow, Blue made it to the finals? I declare shenanigans!!!
Thunderbolts cant catch a break
Good effort by the O'Rangers securing a bronze. Love to see them get a gold though as I fear the gap for first to third overall is getting larger.
O'cheaters
See 4:04 finish again
Justice for Frozen!
@@RazvanMihaeanu Refraction of light is distorted due to the water, so it looks like Frozen hit the line first. However, if you look again at the "photo finish" result, the O'Ranger's marble is slightly more over the line.
@@blobbem Bollocks.
@@RazvanMihaeanu Sorry man, that's just science.

I found Rodo

We love Speeders ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤
Velocity got really stung by Stinger in that semi-final, this fight for the championship is getting vicious
Keep your head up Rizzy it was a close finish well get em next event #RaspberryRobust
Are we gonna ignore that whoever was in the 1st starting spot had a huge advantage? That marble got out to the early lead every single time. JMR needs to be investigated.
Yeah that spot closest to the barrier has an advantage because the first marble to hit it will keep the rest of the marbles behinf them
How was that not impeding by Stinger in the semifinals? Brake checked Velocity so hard they lost all momentum...
The Savage Speeders do a really good job at giving me someone to root against. 👏
Everybody hates us, we don't care #speediskey ⚡⚡⚡
Yes, Speeders slam all
We are superior in every way
I know this is nitpicking, but p1 had such a huge advantage in this race.
As a green ducks fan supporting team momo. It is certainly not working out for us green teams this year 😅
I feel you!

A medal is a medal and ORANGIN is really the best choice for this race! Great job!
Man, that waggle track should be in Marbula 1, the cinematics of the marbles rolling and overtaking just look mesmerizing.
The times and who qualified in the semis has confused me hasn't 5th been robbed by a leader board error?! 😢
Spoilers:
I hope we get a medical update on Wuspy! That looked like a pretty nasty collision on the overtake in semifinal A. It looked like it reversed the direction of their spin entirely! You’d think that would have been investigated, it looked like blue eye almost slammed Wuspy into the track wall!
Ah, that collision right before they went into the tank stopped Velocity's momentum.
Still almost caught up. Definitely disappointing considering Velocity had the second fastest heat time.
True, still managed a comeback. Well, we're still in great contention right now in points.
Didn't he get the 4th best time in semi and being a timed event should have been in final??
Go Mellow Yellow!🎉
*after watching: why…😞*
Yeah... 🥲
I'm so excited for CCE Rn!!!!!!!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤
8:22 Wrong time for Orangin 🟠 in the table. Assume he was 2 sec faster 😂
Triathlon already?!
I’ll take a bronze, well done O’rangers! I feel really bad for the Thunderbolts though… maybe they should host next year?
The speeders got a minor setback today but we can afford 1 or 2 setbacks. We are still really consistant and doing well. Velocity gave his best today and thats all we can ask for.
As i watched the thunderbolts today though, all i could say to my wife(team galactic fan) was, its got to be tough being a thunderbolts fan this season...
We had bad luck with that contact with Stinger, but still a nice 5th place that keeps is in the race! #speediskey
I was out but now I'm back! I LOVE the triathlon. So many elements from events like Marble Rally in one. I hope everyone has a good race (Also GO PINKIES)
EDIT:
Well at least our overall place didn't change.
Greg noted multiple times that this was a timed event. Not sure I understand how the first round's fifth fastest marble gets knocked out while the thirteenth fastest makes it to the next round and the eleventh ultimately takes the gold.
Yes, there was a lot of mixed messaging for this event.
That was so close! congrats to everyone ❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Good to see O'rangers get a medal. Still a long road, though.
Oragin played dirty against Cosmo and I'm not happy!
SPOILERS AHEAD:
Imagine being Galacfifth quickest in the Heats and faster than most runs in the Semis and the Final too, but still being out in the Heats and only getting 10th... 😊 #ReachForTheStars
Congrats to Snowstorm for some very nice runs and a deserved Gold, to Stinger for another great podium for the Hosts and giving them the overall lead back in the home games, and Orangin for the hard-fought Bronze. 😀
I was going to write the same comment. If he went into a total stop like the Thunderbolts one we probably would had a race investigation. Cosmo was really awesome, just unlucky.
@@ChaoPakKei I'm sure Orangin was the first cheering up Cosmo at the end of the heat, and Cosmo complimented him for the move (with a bit of a black [hole] eye, hehe). What a fire from him in the final heat!
