Ghostly guards make you wish you had Ward Against Harm from WotR.

Angels are a different class above everything else when it comes to protective buffs :p nothing can really beat it. At least if I remember correctly you are talking about an angel specific spell right?

Is that some sort of mod you use to buff up? If so, is there a similar thing for WotR? I just finished kingmaker and started on WotR, a buff mod or macro would be amazing hahah

Oh yes indeed my friend, and you will be very happy with it I feel as it is a *significant* improvement from this one for kingmaker.
Search in nexusmods for pathfinder wotr bubbles buffs, I can no longer play the game without it. I will also feature it in my WotR playthrough rhat will come to the channel soon

Have you done Chained Darkness in Lord of Nothing on Unfair? And if so, was it with or without save scumming a failed save on CC effect?

I have not, I only played a bit of that DLC and to be honest I kind of hated it. I tend to not like the DLC campaigns and I mostly get the DLCs for the new classes, spells, etc.
Though funny enough just yesterday I saw a reddit post of someone complaining that guy was borderline impossible and very RNG based.
Just by the name I can imagine what it might be like and it is probably not very fun :p

@@CoredumpedGaming Fair enough. That fight itself is BS to be fair. There is probably a way to optimise to kill it somewhat reliably, but I expect most people are save scumming to some extent to get the rng in their favour.
Overall, I think the DLC isn't bad. It certainly doesn't have the replay appeal of the main game, and the power level of Through the Ashes right at the start is so low as to be jarring, but around level 3 onwards, I think that DLC and Lord of Nothing is pretty good. Somewhat faster paced progression and reasonably enjoyable for a playthrough.

I may try it again at some point then with your recommendation. I think I went for the previous dlc first when I saw you "imported" characters from there (the one that starts in the theatre, I forget the name) and since I kind of got tired of that one I never ended up going for the lord of nothing again, I think I only did like the initial fight or something there.

@@CoredumpedGaming If you do try it and aren't concerned about unfair Chained Darkness, a strength based Sohei is a really solid choice for both modules and will massively help with Through the Ashes in particular. For Chained Darkness on unfair, barring cheese by save scumming until you land baleful polymorph or something similar, you will need a very specialised build that a Sohei will not be suited to.

This is the biggest dungeon of them all in this game, LOL. Three episodes and we're just halfway through. Having said that, as interesting as this place is, I don't like the neverending sequence of fights this game turns into at this point.

Yeah, pretty sure we have the same opinion of this place. In theory it is interesting but it just ends up being fight after fight after fight with a lot of pretty horrible and very resilient enemies.
And here I was thinking this place would take me like one episode or two xD
