not just that but it doesn't cost anything to be the least bit understanding, unless it's really warm outside, carburated bikes are a pig to try and start, i should know because i have a 125cc dirtbike project thingy that i work on 3 hours a month at this club i go to (maybe not this month because of covid-19), and it doesn't even want to debate starting without a choke, and then once i do get it started, i have to let it warm up for atleast 2 minutes before it'll idle without the choke on otherwise i take the choke off and it just dies, i feel this guys pain, i just wish i could have my bike on the road soon
True, he is a good bloke. But carbureted or not. You don't need the choke on 3-4000rpm to warm a bike up. That's a crock of shit.

@@icecold9511 what lane, its filtering between lanes, his speed was too fast when he started, the car wouldve looked then moved, bikers closing speed was too fast given the time the car wouldve looked seen nothing and moved, when you move forward after looking you watch your front then one last mirror, which is when the car seen the biker and reacted, the biker then tried to make out the car was the bad guy, calling all names, this was exaggerated by the biker for the camera.
I am a biker you dont speed when filtering, the gap is small and you have to give vehicles time to see you, especially in this case where the traffic up front was moving off so most focus is forwards, use common sense when surrounded by metal boxes driven mostly by idiots.

7:58 it helps when splitting lanes not to be going like 20MPH or more faster than everyone else. bike was going 44mph at the start of the clip and at the end doing 25 MPH and still passing people.
when you split lanes you need to look at what's happening in front of you. that car had it's indicator on and an open space to it's right, then biker comes in from behind the truck and expects right of way. Split lanes at your own risk or stay in one line and own your spot.

mr leprechaun what the fuck does having mirrors have to do with it? Most people don’t expect a bike to come flying up in between lanes. You have to be stupid to do that. If a biker gets hit while filtering because someone changes lanes it’s their own fault. And people shouldn’t have to watch for it because if you own a bike you should be smart enough not to do that. There’s a reason it’s not legal in a lot of places, drivers should not have to worry about idiots on bikes thinking they can do whatever they want. It gives the safe riders a bad name. Bikes being smaller in the mirrors has nothing to do with it, have you even ever drove on a highway with cars in both lanes behind you? You can only see so far back in certain positions. The car behind you can block the view of between the dividers. So once again it’s the bikers fault. If you don’t want it to happen don’t lane split, simple as that.

I know it's been said a million times over, but seriously...the whole lane splitting thing should be illegal EVERYWHERE. What gives bikers the right not to be patient like every other vehicle on the road and wait patiently in line??
I agree. Cuz half the time there in between both lanes and yet either vehicle in either lane would be in the wrong cuz hes lane splitting. How is a vehicle supposed to figure out that cuz it seems like no matter what lane a car is in the biker who is lane splitting is in both lanes so there's no way for a vehicle to switch lanes then.
We've chosen to use a vehicle that takes up much less room on the roads. All too often you'll see commuters where it's a massive car but only 1 person in it but they'll have the audacity to moan about the traffic. If people are using their bikes they're helping traffic flow quicker.
It's not about waiting or beating the traffic, if you look at logically your utilising more road space, your having more people travelling in that space. It also saves car drivers waiting as in the UK it was found that about 40mins is saved on an av. by people riding instead of driving. So while you're waiting imagine that extra time you would have to not worry about impatient bikers!
Those are valid points, for sure. It just seems that the danger of other drivers deciding to switch lanes and not see a biker coming is very risky. Yes, that's what looking over your shoulder, signaling and mirrors are for...but we all know many people are terrible at this. Not the bikers fault if legal where they are of course.
@@Baldycat74 ya having more people in a smaller space is what causes accidents cuz it's more congested so really it's worse more people in smaller area more likely accidents happen so therefore your not saving any time rather than wasting time cuz now more people have to wait.

the video doesnt do justice. I can tell the bike is loud, especially a carbed one. I have a 50cc bike but it produces 120db because it has a custom midpipe and muffler. When i pulled the choke the first time, the audi next to me had the alarm go off. The bike really is loud but it is still mr.tracksuit's fault for living there
