All sounds very expensive. Good ol gurney and Lanolin works a treat. But it’s the ‘shine’ of the blasting and Igl that will have the influencers frothing.
Soap and water and I did my religiously every time I came back from a trip but yet it still was dirty and rusty. There are many things and products you can use, but none are as lasting as this.
@@perth4b4adventures are you saying despite all the social media advertising and endorsement from the influencing mob, the salty captain didn’t actually work?
@deebee5236 nope not saying that at all. My car is just over two years old, I haven’t had any protective coatings put on it either on the paint or on the underbody. I started using Salty Captain late last year but by that time things had already started evolving. Salty Captain is an excellent product for removing the salt and the dirt with its anti corrosion agents but it doesn’t stop the salt and the dirt from sticking in the first place. An anti corrosion coating prevents the salt from touching the metal and starting the whole corrosion process. Dry ice cleaning and IGL Aegis Coatings has just entered the 4wd market, you can choose to use it, or choose not to, the choice is up to the individual.
Brand new vehicles are fairly cheap to do as they do not require the level of cleaning and preparation.... no point in applying it incorrectly on a used vehicle @grahameroberts8109

Awesome, I will be putting this on the list for the finance minister to approve.
Good value for ya money I reckon 👍
How were you keeping the underbody of your cars protected prior to this method?

@ soap and water might clean it but what did you use to protect it after you cleaned it?
Salty Captain.
