- I found a box of records for 1.00 each at a little antique store in Taos New Mexico! Captain Beyond, Roy Harper, King Crimson, Juaréz, Justin Hines, Black Slate, Charlie Mariano, Traffic, Randy California Kapt. Kopter, Nils Lofgren and more!
Dollar records are the best kinds of records in my opinion. Lots of great finds!
I was hoping you picked up Randy California's solo record ( Spirit ).. I bought the repress 2 yrs. ago ! And "The Dreaming" for a dollar is killer ! Also that Kenny Burrell is excellent, as you said. Sweet sweet King Crimson.. Nice finds ! " What A Difference A Box Makes" Dinah Washington ! LoL !! 😊
I love Mike Auldridge. Lowell George from Little Feat worked with him and that’s how I discovered him.
The $1 box was such a strange contrast to the over-priced records. Captain Beyond for a dollar is a steal. And King Crimson too. Amazing 🙂

Some great finds for so cheap..Roy Harpers' Valentine is a lovely album, I'm a big fan of his..I have a UK Harvest first press that also came with a die -cut lyric book that was limited to the first editions and had to be sent off for, it's quite rare now.
Great finds! Amongst others I’d love to find that Deuter record for such a cheap price. Klaus Schulze too, even though you paid a bit more for that.
Steve, later Horslips is kind of power pop, but earlier albums are Irish folk-rock. Great buys for $1. I would have thought that you would get the Steely Dans unless you put them in the Jazz category. Thanks, Chris
Nice finds!, I like Mike Auldridge I haven't found any of his records yet. I did find a couple Eddie Adcock albums a while back. He plays an interesting banjo and guitar fingerstyle. I always look for jazz and that Charlie Mariano is one I'd like to have too.
Just in time is a great album. Glad you got that for a decent price. Some real good finds in that dollar bin Steve. His wood crate prices on the other hand ….😂😂😂

Seems almost all Antique stores have become this way. It was much better pickin’ when they didn’t know how to price their records!! 🤣 I’m finding that estate/garage sales and Facebook marketplace have a lot of people pricing to sell fast and in most cases they just want the box of records gone asap. Been getting some killer steals and deals on top tier records for pennies per record. 👊🔥🤘
