What do you think of a power spell version with Thrust in main deck & side ? It could search for Soul Release, TTT, etc... And going first it can set a trap (Different dimension ground) or add with mannequin cat. Thanks ^^
I think I like the idea of trying to stop them from making a board in the first place, as opposed to trying to break boards after. With everyone running floodgates, cards like Anti-Spell hurt the deck infinitely harder where it normally wouldn't. I also really like Evenly in the Power Spell/Go 2nd version, but we can't seem to outgrind Snake-Eye decks, which makes Evenly (and Thrust indirectly) a little worse. TTT is nice, but not as nice as it is for other decks. Normally once TTT is live, our board has probably been cleared of all 2s, so unless you have extenders (Starter, EMP), you probably aren't playing that turn. In practise, TTT then seems pretty weak, because if you're taking a monster, it's unlikely to be something you can actually use well, drawing usually won't get you extenders, and looking at their hand seems bad. Searching for Soul Release seems strong, until you realise that they'll probably just trigger a lot of their effects on resolution of you adding Soul Release to your hand (trigger Flamberge to summon the level 1s from GY, adding resources etc/triggering Kirin early to get Garunix out of GY). At that point, you're trading 1:1 for the Princess and maybe some other random cards like Linkuriboh, assuming that Princess wasn't the card that turned Thrust on in the first place. DDG seems good to play, but if you're already playing Shifter, it's just more copies of the same card. Could still be worthwhile testing, as these are just all my thoughts on what might happen :)
Yep! Unfortunately it does, which is why it's sided. I think that with Shifter, Fenrir is needed for that extra little bit of damage, and because Fenrir and Shifter alone can carry games sometimes (especially because it can just swing over an SP without activating any effects if they choose to make one under Shifter with an Ash and a Poplar)
I'll probably make a more in-depth video on EMP in due time, but atm I don't think there's anything in the main deck that I can cut to make space for it. I also don't think it's better than everything in the deck at the moment :)
gotta love to see siding patterns and all, really rarely get to see something like this. thanks for the content as always man ^^
Loving all the support you're giving on every single video bro, appreciate ya as always!
Very good video

Wouldn’t fenrir conflict with nib going second? Great video though! Keep it up.

Cook king
This is also the exact decklist you’re winning all ur recent tournaments right?
More or less! Droll comes in and out depending on how I feel on the day. I swap it out for 2 Belles sometimes.
@@theorangegriffin7531 but the rest of the deck is remained the same ?
@@denizsyed7699 yep
So you don’t play EM:P Meowmine ?
