    Yay! I got picked. The tiliaceus is looking great, it certainly has come a long way in a short amount of time. It doesn't even look like the same tree.

    Great history, great person and great video. Love watching your vids and I learn a lot from them. What is the best liquid fertilizer for your bonsai trees? Looking forward to more videos and the Q & A sessions. Thanks, Phil from Boston.🥇

      Philip Tavella thank you so much for your feedback Phil. I don’t use any liquid fertilizer I feel the tree doesn’t have enough time to absorb it. This is what I use for all of my trees, when my trees are getting a pretty good ramification then I switch to a maintain fertilizer with lower numbers but still slow release.

    Really cool to find out how you got into bonsai and how it turned into a business! Wish you were closer to Brevard county! I enjoy your videos! I wasn’t expecting you to reply to me in your video that was awesome and you definitely answered my question!! You also helped me in regards to my Brazilian rain tree yellowing. I keep it in full sun all day. That’s gonna change now. Do you guys sell Chinese elms?

    Great. I just mix your recipe and apply to repot my bonsai. As Pumice effects for root, could I use pumice to mu aroid and other plants? Thanks

    Where do you purchase your pine bark? I would really like to add some more to my mix! Really enjoyed the mix I got from your website. Just added some more perlite and cactus mix

    I have a citrus in bonsai soil and it grows large leaves, but lately, they are getting yellow spots on them. Too much sun or not enough? Did the fertilizer I added affect the growth process.? Same thing is happening with a Barbados Cherry tree.

      Angel Vega hey Angel, that could be a few things, if the leave tips get crispy then not enough water and if the leaves get brown to black spots than it is too much water

    I would like to know if soft wood chips could be a substitute for pine bark or if not composted pine bark will be fine? If not what could be a substitute because I cannot find it here in the Philippines and pine bark here are expensive

    • @danielcluley870
      @danielcluley870 2 года назад

      No.
      Pine Bark is very different from wood chips. Pine bark is an excellent soil medium because it has specific properties of absorption and permeability combined with a bit of "cleaning" properties from it absorbing and filtering water-born nutrients and and preventing mold/disease.
      It is a great substrate.

      I would say, that it is acidic, so research that if your plant is acid-loving or acid-tolerant. (Adenium for example like it a lot)

      Hector dehesa hey hector, yes absolutely pumice is larger and it doesn’t break down like perlite does

      6 DIGIT-MENTORS you probably don’t water enough, also I would recommend a good soil such as : Bonsai Soil All Purpose Mix | Fast Draining Pre Blend (2 Quart Bag) Plant | Pumice, Lava, Calcined Clay and Pine Bark ● Potting Pre Mixed Bonsai Plant Soil Mixture By The Bonsai Supply www.amazon.com/dp/B07M68B4JG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_LNgxDbH4Q1NMT
