- A title that has been discussed many times throughout basketball, a debate that has been talked about for many years. There is a question that will always come up, Who is the GOAT? But to me the GOAT debate has been something that has evolved over the years and it has had its positives and it has had its negatives.While the GOAT Debate has been great for fans to debate on who is the best to ever play Basketball, we have been able to weigh our two cents and show our basketball knowledge and get into debates with our friends on who the greatest is. It has also spiraled into a toxic battle between fanbases and the media not having the smartest things to say and at this point it has gotten out of control. Recently there has been this movement dubbed as “We’re done with the 90s” as people all over NBA TikTok have taken it upon themselves to watch old games from the 90s and critique everything.

The reason why lebron fans bash Jordan is because Jordan goat people have been hating on us everywhere just for being fans. My whole life I’ve been a lebron fan as I was a kid when I started watching and I just loved him. He hadn’t won a single championship yet. I literally cannot wear his shoes, without someone shitting on me and claiming insane shit he wade, Kylie, Davis were actually the won the championship for him. I’m so sick of it. I’m not even sure he’s the goat but it’s insane that so many people won’t even admit he’s an all time great and just shit on him constantly. So I get why lebron fans get all crazy. I just keep my mouth shut and enjoy watching him play. I hope after he retires it calms down and people admit he was fucking amazing even if not the goat

And here I thought it was the NBA that destroyed basketball. Fun fact: I could care less about basketball and then I started seeing Jordan highlights. I watched occasionally until he retired and never turned it back on again. Except out of curiosity, only to find it's unwatchable anymore. I mean, if you wanna go with that argument one can argue that less final appearances = less losses. LeBron has 10 appearances, multiple faced off against a Warrior dynasty that became impossible to beat with KD and arguably the two best shooters in NBA history (splash brothers). At the end of the day, you can't argue who is better, because it all depends on which of their skill set you value and which era you consider to be harder. Everyone will have a different take on that, and that's the problem.

I respect lebron fans, but the one thing that makes me dislike them is that they make it seem like just because I love MJ, I’m hating on Lebron. That’s not true. I love MJ and lebron but I have always thought that MJ was better. Even better than Kobe and I hate that the media tries to force fans to love lebron, even though some fans love Kevin Durant. It’s so annoying. All I ask for is just a little respect on my opinions and I’ll respect yours
