How is all of this so ridiculously relaxing and cool? I watch these first-person city tours like travelogues to real places. All you need is the British narrator describing local customs and points of interest.
Again, I love how real this place feels from this perspective. love the details in the industrial zones as well. This reminds of an S-Bahn or RER style urban train.
The sound effects are very impressive! The way the highway vehicle sounds blend into the journey or how the sound becomes a bit louder when passing through tunnels is amazing.
At some point watching this video, I thought: "Wait. I know these background train sounds..." And it was indeed the lovely sound of a VT 612. I ride these trains very often on my way to work and I really like them.🙂 For example, the retarder whining sound at 2:12 and the rpm change, when the retarder is turned off, at 2:17, are very iconic sounds of these DMUs. You did a great job of editing these sounds in, it is quite accurate with the speed of the train. Even though the sound of a DMU doesn't really fit an electric train, but I don't mind that.😉 This city also looks absolutely stunning. Well done!!
I love the atmosphere, and the train ride through the city! Especially the détails, you can feel the life in the city, thank to the styles of the buildings and the inhabitants vacant to their occupations ^^ i love this city! And your works
They don't get deleted except when they die so the ai try their best even if it's ridiculous to get unstuck, They have names, jobs and they go to malls restaurant etc, you can see all this by inspecting them you'll see info about them, yes even if you have 70k people it'll be unique, that's why cities skylines is the best
First time I've seen this city. I am stunned and in total awe. Wow. Even the bare hills as you enter the industrial zone look so good and so realistic. I, for one, am glad you embrace that. I've seen so many superb designers, be it CS, Planet Zoo, Planet Coaster, whatever, that can't tolerate one patch of bare land and have to drench everything in lush foliage. Seems that your design talents cover the whole gambit! Thanks for sharing.
A real, real treat travelling around the city this way. So happy to have seen this build from the beginning but can say I'm not looking forward to the end. Thanks for an amazing experience in gaming and art.
4:25 " - Clapham Junction, Earlsfield, Wimbledon, Surbiton, Hinchley Wood, Claygate, Oxshott, Cobham & Stoke D'Abernon, Effigham Junction, Horsley, Clandon, London Road (Guildford) and Guildford. This train is formed of 8 coaches." I knew something in there was familiar ;)
I love how realistic this city feels from the train driver's perspective. Akruas, you've outdone yourself! Have you considered going into a 5B1C Cities Skylines build? I'm sure that you, YUMBLtv, Two Dollars Twenty, Pres, and Jeremy Thunder would build an excellent city!
This was beautifully rendered. I have been following you for a while. Your work is so consistently good. I hope you are not tired of it at this point. Just lovely. Thank you for sharing it on RUclips.
this game is honestly one of the coolest of the last decade! i can't believe how immersive and how realistic this game is! the fact that you can create your own city and get on train rides and explore things that you created! its so awesome! idk how to express my amusement with this game! lol
This is honestly so impressive. Nothing feels like it has wrong scaling, or out of place in general (except for the occasional weird passenger riding a bike through people). Then the perfectly matching sound effects to top it off.
Stunning work as always. I'm impressed by your attention to detail - in this case the fitted overhead line on the double-deck bridge, which is just how I'd expect to see the real thing.
For some reason I imagine Aurelia city in switzerland or something... :D Anyways, I've always liked this series, and I'm very happy to see you finish this soon.
You should be a developer and design a city for some open world game. Your designs are just fantastic, no space wasted, the player could spend hours walking around exploring everything.
Now this is a cool tour. The best perspective for tour is like.. Either from that train/bus first perspective or.. From like.. a cam inside that train/bus. Like... the perspective of the driver Unlike the other channel like imperatur channel or something like that... And also the city layout also so logic. Lots of shades and it's so packed.
You know what it lacks, or to be precise, what I still didn't saw in Cities Skylines? The old style cities. Stuff like the old New York buildings. That atmosphere of the old 1800 cities.
Do you know what this city really needs? A statue of Marcus Aurelius. Or somebody else from the Aurelius dynasty. Or Aurelia, Caesar's mother. Or a stone brought back from the 419 Aurelia asteroid.
If you pause at 1:23 you can see on the right platform a guy is doing bunny hops on a cycle in a TRAIN STATION. Also a woman in white clothes is dabbing.
Honestly not to be too pushy or anything, but adding some graffiti in between buildings or in tunnels would really give the place a big city sorta vibe. It would also add some more realism and detail
Almost 500 hours on CS, and all I can see in your AMAZING city is... things I just can't seem to do! If you're ever in Polkville (NC), stop on by and fix my biggest issue - ME!
Cities Skylines should team up with a racing game so we drive around in Aurelia. Or a first person shooter and let us fight demons in it. Or just walk around in Aurelia while you're building it.
Hey, just a question: what canopies are you using for the train station at 1:20? I’m building a custom railway/metro station here and I’m having some trouble finding a canopy/roof for it that I like. Also did you use Node Controller/Node Controller Renewal to cant (tilt) the railway around curves? And how did you manage to make its slope’s ends look so smooth? Mine look rather bumpy here.
That's a single train station building, I didn't add anything. steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=727755831 Yes that was node controller, really don't remember how I built it, it's been years.
it looks realistic nad beatufil, but if this was irl the amount of money spend on bridges would be insane. just imagine the amount of money to repair it

Don’t forget the history behind places
a John Oliver watcher :D
if i could walk freely, inside the train in first person, sign me up
Kind of reminiscent of Ben Elias videos
For real someone needs to develop a little lore for Aurelia
1:21 incredible biking skills from the lady on the left platform
right* not left
😂😂😂😂
I stopped watching the video when I saw that.
Isn't that right platform
I have absolutely no idea why I typed left but yeah thanks for reminding me how dumb I am
Again, I love how real this place feels from this perspective. love the details in the industrial zones as well. This reminds of an S-Bahn or RER style urban train.
Seriously this is mind blowing! Has to the best project on RUclips. Great work Akruas
He really has, true. ;)
I prefer project binky but this is good too
The sound effects are very impressive! The way the highway vehicle sounds blend into the journey or how the sound becomes a bit louder when passing through tunnels is amazing.

This build is on a fantastic level.

the person on the bike at 1:22:
Then there was someone dabbing

My name is Jovanny Giorgio, but everybody calls me Georgio...

You really are on another level with your city design. How integrated and lived in everything feels. Seeing it from this perspective is so satisfying!
A real, real treat travelling around the city this way. So happy to have seen this build from the beginning but can say I'm not looking forward to the end. Thanks for an amazing experience in gaming and art.
The dude on the bike at 1:22, was REALLY excited to see the train show up.
Great video by the way!
There is a staggering amount of work gone in to creating this city landscape.
im soooo obsessed with these types of videos. I love clicking on the buses and cars in-game too
Perfectly done! I liked the parts in which train traversed across the downtown it was simply breathtaking.

using the beijing daxing airport as a island city is not what i expected but what i needed in my life
this game is honestly one of the coolest of the last decade! i can't believe how immersive and how realistic this game is! the fact that you can create your own city and get on train rides and explore things that you created! its so awesome! idk how to express my amusement with this game! lol
The variety of landscape sights is pretty damn impressive
The insane detail and views of some places especially the residential and the buisness district is mind blowing, Great work! 10/10
Underrated legend. Incredible job!
This is honestly so impressive. Nothing feels like it has wrong scaling, or out of place in general (except for the occasional weird passenger riding a bike through people). Then the perfectly matching sound effects to top it off.

As a console player the level of detail here is absolutely mind boggling. Simply amazing work, bravo.
This was the video I've been waiting for such a long time
The joy of this isn't detailing, it's layering. It's too good to be true.
For some reason I imagine Aurelia city in switzerland or something... :D Anyways, I've always liked this series, and I'm very happy to see you finish this soon.
Those are Armstrong Powerhouse tier sounds
And level of detalisation is stunning as always
Just when you are thinking "oh my god this is so immersive!" The guy riding a bike at 1:23 breaks you immersion
Man, you are the one who made me buy the game yesterday. I always loved this kind of game but still didn’t know this. And your city is awesome!
You really get a sense of scale from this perspective. Cim's get a view even on the way to the office
10 years ago i lived there but man this city grows fast. Maybe i move back in. But the houses are now really expensive there these days.
5:58 Steve Minecraft, is that you? :O
Amazing city, the level of detail is astounding.
Dude this is such a German-esque train system, like the S-Bahn! The main station reminds me of the Berlin Hauptbahnhof. Great work!
That damn bird I hear the whole time must be flying damn quick to be keeping up with the train
your aurelia series is out of this world this is awsome.
I like your trains. That design looks 10 years ahead of it’s time
Could watch this vid another ten times! AMAZING!
This is so cool! I recognize some of these buildings, like the Berlin train station and the Beijing skyscraper
This is also a good type of video to use in the background of a video.
You should be a developer and design a city for some open world game. Your designs are just fantastic, no space wasted, the player could spend hours walking around exploring everything.

You are so talented!
I totally agree! ;)
Chất lượng, Sỹ Luân chắc thích bản Cover này lắm này! Chúc mừng em cùng toàn thể Ekip F. Studio
10:02 fun fact those huge solar panels in the back are from Evangelion
And the stadium there is from gdańsk as i remember
A Valium with my tea and biscuit, sir. Wake me when we arrive at the beach.
😪😴 💊
it looks like it will look beautiful if it is built in a village with rice fields and mountains and waterfalls
RIP to the bunch of humans that were crushed by the tram in the beginning and bruh the bike guy at 1:22
You know what it lacks, or to be precise, what I still didn't saw in Cities Skylines?
The old style cities. Stuff like the old New York buildings.
That atmosphere of the old 1800 cities.
Your centrail station is worked by the german company DB= Deutsche Bahn. I liked to see it. But it also means a lot of trains will have some delay.
Nice mod, included many famous buildings from all around the world.
Amazing work so much to look at and so much detail keep up the great work
In one word: Fantastic !!!
Love the jumping cyclist at 1:20! 😂😂😂
Aww shucks, such vids always make me wanna become a train-conductor in placed that aren't real....
I love the city.
First time I see some realistic sound editing in cities skylines tour video
I really wanna live in that city!
It's so smooth and realistic... i loved this
I LOVE the verticality, something i have a hard time doing in my own cities. theyre all nice a flat lol
Real good work. BTW, that island city looks like the new Beijing airport😂.
Very relaxing. Thank you.
Absolutely mesmerising. Reminds me of Japan in real life.
oh,man...I am so going to miss this city :(
Honestly not to be too pushy or anything, but adding some graffiti in between buildings or in tunnels would really give the place a big city sorta vibe. It would also add some more realism and detail
1:05 hey this is a round tower building from Novosibirsk, I live just next to it :)
ЖК Флотилия
1:23 the guy riding the bike 😂

1:21 hey, what the bike doing
beautiful build... loved the ride
Best map, best map theme, best city lay-out although there are some sneaky bugs,.but overall this is the best city, at least for me.
This is just so nice
this game is insane
Wow! Very cool! May I ask what mod do you use for the first person perspective?
steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=650805785
@@Akruas thanks 👍
Amazing!
I would like to know what mode has been used for this type of view such as inside de tunnels
steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=650805785

A lovely video
Very impressive indeed.
I really do Wish Cities Skylines itself would step to VR! Laurie
How u get this normal speed? Mine always feels too fast even with 1x speed
steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2741726428
Just amazing!
this is insane
I don’t really know why but this reminds me of the london tube 😂
city is amazing no doubt, the only thing that bothers me is color contrast is a bit off
Wow this is so realistic! Reminds me of Tokyo. Only thing that would make it more realistic is a longer wait at stations. What mods did you use?
Check the video description.
The starfish building is Beijing Daxing International Airport?
5:44 the people are phasing in and out of existence. What sorcery is this
I love the ambiance so much, sounds so realistic. Is that also mod?
No, thats editing.
it looks realistic nad beatufil, but if this was irl the amount of money spend on bridges would be insane. just imagine the amount of money to repair it
4:10
And as in the last ride in Aurelia, once again a person flies. Or at least she walks in the air.
thats cool
this map feels more alive than cyberpunks did
Look's like real
